A huge, huge asset to the area that has improved the Royal Standard immeasurably. Not only welcoming and friendly to all but a really superb, ever changing selection of beers from around the world. When food is served here (normally by pop-ups or outside caterers that come in) it’s always top notch and events are innovative, inclusive and really bloody cool. The Green Goddess is the bee’s knees.

You are likely to be overwhelmed with the choice of ales here when you first walk in.
Don't worry, you're in safe hands - the bar staff are very patient and will give you all the support you need. Perfect atmosphere on this late September sunny evening. My advice: stay with the 3 to 4 percenters, kick back, relax and just forget the world.

Absolutely gorgeous place run by lovely people with a lovely atmosphere ( with AC). You can take your own food as there isn’t a kitchen ( or order a delivery), but they sell crisps and light bites. Games, books and plenty of drinks ( alcoholic and non alcoholic). They even charged our phone. Highly recommend a visit!! We really enjoyed ourselves there. Thank you

Nice cozy brewery with a good selection of drinks. It has a very family and welcoming vibe. Nice staff too. I'm only giving 4 stars for now until they also brew their own beer (and assuming it's good). Overall a nice place and I'll definitely visit again.

Exceptional craft beer bar with loads at choice at fair prices. Owners are very friendly and setting in old bank is very tasteful. Will definitely return.

Brilliant selection of beers, wines, ciders (no fruit cider but the awesome Duckchicken and Nightingale ciders in the fridge!).
Super-friendly, knowledgeable staff who can recommend the best choice for you.
I've been in a few times already and this is an excellent addition to the 286 bus route! Look forward to seeing the Green Goddess go from strength to strength!
