Atlas Grinds

Really stoked about this one! Great to see a place in London that's not all about profits (or so I hope - haven't seen a living wage sticker on the door 🕵️). Only discovered this recently as I moved to the area not too long ago, so I haven't had a chance yet to try their food, there's lots of drinks to choose from tho (both alcoholic & non-alcoholic). The atmosphere is great, walls are decorated with lots of amazing LGBTQIA+ themed art from local artists, no chill house background music (thank god), the tables are cleared out regularly, so it's always nice & tidy. Good place to work from - laptop & dog friendly!! Superb staff, you can tell they genuinely care about this place. Ronnie's been very attentive, friendly and makes some good drinks - really makes the place feel super welcoming! Wish there was more and/or better seating by the window as otherwise there's not a lot of natural light inside (seriously, someone please take over that nearby pret on the corner - such a good location and a bright venue - no pret deserves that 😩)... Definitely coming back again!

Atlas Grinds is a lovely, welcoming, and intimate space that does good coffee and nice pastries. I really like the decor and colour palette - there’s something comforting and familiar about it, but it’s also a little edgy and provocative. I would always go for coffee here over the chains that seem sadly to be emerging in the area.
