Went to Shoryu Kensington with friends, been to other Shoryu locations as well. I always love their Ramen and Katsu curry. I tried the Sake flight which was amazing and the service was lovely and staff members were very friendly and welcoming. They welcome customers with a traditional drum bang. Overall a good experience and will sure come back!

Nothing to dislike about this ramen place. The broth was nice and hot and restaurant is trendy and clean with good service. We liked the chicken wing alot as it was tender and juicy, but personally I would like it to be seasoned more generously. Would come back for a quick ramen fix!

Great friendly atmosphere with a traditional Japanese greeting of banging a drum and welcoming the customer. A fantastic menu with various flavours of broth. They ask if you would like your noodles soft, medium or hard and the service is quick and attentive. My ramen came out fairly quick after ordering (I had Miso). The ramen included three giant slabs of pork belly, perfectly balanced with soft, pull-away meat and fatty flavourful top and middle. The marinate was perfect, each bite was like heaven. Other ingredients included crunchy mushrooms and ginger, an egg, nori seaweed and spring onion. It was a beautifully flavoured meal, complete with a plum wine which cleansed the palette. I also order an oolong tea which came in a cute teapot to steep. There are many tables, a food bar that overlooks the chefs cooking and a drinks bar at the back. Staff were friendly and lovely to have a conversation with, recommending their dishes and also places to visit in London.

Well, I admit that I am now fan of Japanese food since I moved to London. With this, I always try to explore new places to have ramen to fill my hungry stomach. I tried so many chains and small restaurants as well. But never have I ever had this best vegan noodles. I am vegetarian and getting such a good taste that is just out of the world. I loved this the vibe, service and food. Ofcourse as compared to Wagamama, the price is little costly but I would say worth it. Go ahead have it atkeast once. It's so filling and 1 bowl is enough to have it for a meal. So amazing. I would definitely visit here again and also more frequently. Highly recommend.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday. Wasn't sure about the quality at first as far as it is a chain but I got positively surprised. Fast service. Fresh food. Great quality and ingredients. Real comfort food. Kaedama possible, as far as amount of noodles could be a bit tiny when just having the ramen. It can become quite busy and loud in front of the restaurant. The open kitchen is nice to have a look at, but the street with a bus stop in front can be quite distracting.

You will be asked the hardiness of the noodle that you would like when you order. The soup is key of the whole meal and they do it right. I really like the taste of it.

Just came back from Japan so was craving some Ramen. It felt like I was back in japan for a few moments! Service was great, lovely staff. The takoyaki was very tasty. I went for the curry ramen which was a large portion. Also ordered daijingo nihonshu which I would recommend. Being in Kensington it's not cheap, so be warned haha.
