Review Eliza's Pantry - Long Melford

Strange place. It was chucking it down, cold and wet. We saw the signs outside saying open and tables yet every detail apart from that said closed. You need to open the red door and step through. Not obvious. I shouted a greeting but was met with a Luke warm reception. Odd. The lack of social interaction continued throughout the time we were there. Good place to meet up. Tea was ok. Not strong. Cake was interesting. Some good choice. Nothing bad to say hence 4 stars but was a bit flat.

Stopped in on a detour from Essex back to Norfolk as the ratings are good and thee menus looked amazing. Really lovely little place, warm welcome from the chap behind the counter, good sized pot of tea and well, I could talk all day about them sausages!! I had the large breakfast and it came with half a pig, it was amazing, all locally sourced. Highly recommend and worth the detour off our journey.

Friendly place to rest and recuperate. Comfortable and with a good selection of breakfasts, sandwiches, salads, wraps, and cakes. A little notice says everything is made fresh to order. Given the quality of my toasted sandwich, I believe the statement. The bread in particular was a cut above (boom tish!). Both the tea and coffee were excellent, and my slice of cake was fresh and delicious.

Had the most delicious and perfectly cooked full English breakfast, and it was simply stunning. The whole cafe is a delight, rhe staff are friendly and everything from the tea cups and tea pot on up are spot on. Will definitely be returning, and i HIGHLEY recommend.

We love this café. We've always received such a warm welcome. Our favourite is the English breakfast: cooked to perfection and accompanied by a nice pot of tea. The cakes are gorgeous. We sometimes take our dog too. We thoroughly recommend Eliza's Pantry.

Wonderful hidden gem of a café just a little further down the high street than all the other shops and cafes. I had a latte and a sausage egg bap, both of which were fantastic. Great atmosphere, affordably priced menu, and run by very friendly and welcoming people. This might be my new favourite café in Long Melford. Well worth taking the extra two minutes on foot to get to if you're in town, go see for yourself!
