George Inn Pub & Dining - Longbridge Deverill - Photo album

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the George Inn hotel and bar for a work trip, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. One thing that truly stood out during my stay was the exceptional hospitality and friendliness of the staff, particularly Steve, the Landlord, and Megan, the barmaid
I arrived yesterday for one evening's stay at lunchtime yesterday (October 15th) The pub was very busy doing lunches, but that did not stop the staff taking the time to deal with my requirements in a calm and professional manner. I had Sunday lunch which was a trio of meats, and it was excellent to

Clean, modern and very comfortable and very reasonable. We had a fun Sunday evening after a delicious steak dinn
Staff were amazing, food pricey for what it was. Good place especially if you are part of a large group or want to explore the area. I don't know enough about the area to compare price/value. But you can book in confidence you will at least enjoy your stay. Only personal negative is the real ale - n

Lovely rooms with cosy beds, lovely food also - Frances looked after us really well at breakfast! Service - we were surprised that nobody is allowed to sit at the bar, only the tables adjacent to it, there are 4 tables. We had to stand, then gave up and had to sit in the dining room - tired after

Lovely 17th Century Inn. My room was really nice and very cozy. I found the service in the bar to be excellent as was the atmosphere. There was a lovely range of Ales, lager, cocktails and they sell Pimm's by the glass or jug. Also a lovely range of coffees, from latte, cappuccino and espresso. Lovel
It is a lovely place. The staff were hard working, polite, & friendly. The only disappointment I had, was not having a walk in shower. I have mobility problems so found this quite hard. My fault for not mentioning this when booking.
Really large comfortable room we had for two nights. Dyson fan, nespresso machine, usb ports were a great bonus on the tech front. Bathroom was nicely finished although shower force was very low. Super bed. Never visited the pub or had an encounter with the scary sounding 'Steve'.
A Longleat safari trip to celebrate my Mother's and my Sister birthdays brought us to The George Inn. We found a treasure. Friendly staff, special mention to Izzie, who thoughtfully organised a potted plant and card for Mum's 95th birthday. Much appreciated, thank you. Their rooms are comforta
