Review Little Town Farm Shop And Tea Room - Longridge

Vegans Look Away. Little Town Farm Shop rear their own Angus beef and source other meats locally. There meat is amongst the best I've ever tasted, and I've been eating UK Farm bred produce all my life. Did I mention their dairy? Oh, and they stock Revive turmeric and ginger juice for the relief of inflammation in joints and muscles.

Really enjoyed our 1st experience of Little Town Farm shop. Great lofty feel to the upstairs dining area & lovely & warm on a wet & windy day! Good choice of snacks & lunch type options at reasonable prices.

Had a lovely meal here. Staff were super kind and helpful. My partner is gluten and dairy free which they sorted out and she had alot of options still. Lovely to sit outside on the tables and enjoy the great food. Will be back again soon.

Visited on a Sunday, late morning and had the full English breakfast at the restaurant. Can't fault the source of the food served. Everything seemed to be locally sourced, tasty and there was plenty of everything. Service was friendly and attentive despite being very busy and the food was worth the wait which wasn't excessive, given how full the dining areas were. Price wise, it's a little more expensive than a supermarket breakfast (£12.95) but, given that a full breakfast includs 2 slices of toast and a hot drink (tea or coffee), it's definitely not overly expensive. Only downside for me (and it's a personal choice) was that the sausages, whilst definitely properly cooked, still looked a little undercooked. Taste wise, they were absolutely fine avd full of flavour. The farm shop has a very good selection of locally sourced produce, at competitive pricing for this kind of outlet and there's a small plant nursery, selling a range of plants and gardening items. All-in-all, I'd highly recommended this place for a visit and a bite to eat.

We decided last minute to have a drive out somewhere and the little town farm shop came up whilst googling. We liked the look of it so drove half an hour from Chorley to have a looksie. From the soup and sandwiches to the apricot, pistachio and rose water upside down cake, we relished every last morsel. The staff were lovely and efficient telling us they loved all customers new and old as it keeps this wonderful place going. To walk off the calories the picturesque forest of bowland is just a short drive away for a great afternoon out💚

Lovely cafe that's bigger than you think! Menu has plenty of choice including an all day breakfast and options for kids and smaller plates. Good sized portions and tasty food, you can tell it's homemade by the quality ingredients and seasoning. Staff professional, friendly and knowledgeable. A real hidden gem, highly recommended.

We went to the Little Town Farm Shop today and managed to park in the car park. In the cafe we had some lovely sandwiches with salad and chips, washed down with a nice cup of coffee. We bought a few things in the shop on our way out. We will definitely come again for a lunchtime meal.

Expensive as a garden nursery (compared to others back home) BUT ... the food and coffee in the Farmshop cafe is excellent. Definitely recommend the "bikers butty" which is a large bacon roll with an egg added. Beautiful! Feel hungry now just thinking about it. Service was excellent. Food prices are very reasonable. Obviously a popular place for locals which is always a good recommendation.

Farm shops are about the only way the farming community stay afloat at present, with the pitiful purchasing price that supermarkets provide, the loss of government help and ever increasing animal feed, fertiliser and seed costs: so we should make the time to visit these wonderful local co-op enterprises. This one is a great example.

A bit out of the way ... but lovely food. Bit chilly so we managed to get the little room inside. A little selection of knick knacks and treats to purchase to take away
