We were a party of 8 including three little ones. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was great and kids meals excellent. Would highly recommend to families wanting a warm welcome, with good honest food at sensible prices. No booking though, so get there early if, like us, you are a bigger party than normal.

We arrived here for dinner without a booking on the off chance that they may be able to fit us in which they did. Food was fantastic, the seafood is great and there's a great choice on the menu. Good portion sizes, we had seafood chowder, fish & chips and seafood linguine. There is a kids menu to accommodate young children. We were so full that we didn't have deserts but again there was lots of choice and they sounded very nice. Staff were really friendly and we were asked several times if we needed more drinks or anything else. We felt very well looked after and had a great experience.

Second time this week going to The Arch.
Food has been excellent both times and the staff very friendly. The restaurant is dog friendly and has a lovely atmosphere.
My only slight complaint is the amount of time we had to wait at the front door to be seated. The waiting staff looked at us several times but nobody acknowledged us, even though we could clearly see a table big enough had just been cleaned, so the restaurant wasn't full.
A little more attention, and a few seconds to come over and say "we'll be with you in a few minutes" goes a very long way.

Two of us had dinner here last night, we had the mushroom bruschetta and seafood chowder to start, with fish and chips and the Arch burger for our main course. We loved the food, it was full of flavour and cooked well. The Arch had wonderful gluten free options for me as a Coeliac. We did have to wait a while outside for a table to become free however it was worth the wait for the food. The staff were lovely and made you feel welcome.

We were lucky enough to get our family of 7 a table today without booking. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. Our 8 year old daughter is on a very strict low carb ketogenic diet for her drug resistant epilepsy. The staff were very helpful when we ordered. I don't think they realise just what a difference they made to our holiday, as this was the first meal we've ever eaten out as a family since the start of the diet. Definitely recommended and would love to go back 😊

The food here is gorgeous. Seated and served quickly and efficiently. I had the seafood linguine and my partner opted for Moules Frites, both dishes were delicious and piping hot. 100% recommend if you’re visiting Looe.

Amazing meal, great service, the food was lovely, couldn’t fault it. We felt safe, staff were disinfecting all the laminated menus after each use, serving us cutlery on a tray so that we could take our own and they crossed less hands. Both steaks were cooked to perfection, chicken was cooked lovely, very succulent and the mushroom bruschetta was also gorgeous. The portion sizes were huge and the food and drinks were great prices, and great quality. Would highly recommend going here if in Looe, and if I’m in Looe again I would definitely go back. All the staff are doing a great job in these hard times.

We ate here tonight. Food was fantastic we had belly pork and arch burgers. 5 of us.3 pork 2 burgers. We had to wait a while but as food is cooked to order it was worth the wait. Staff were cheerful and polite. We're going back tomorrow for Sunday lunch. I can't believe some of the reviews that have been posted on here and some people obviously don't know what belly pork is!!! All I can say is well done to the arch and we will be back.

I’ve always loved eating here, as we come down quite often, the staff are lovely.
The food is amazing, the fish was outstanding, everyone loved the food.
We had a little issue waiting for a few drinks, we had to wait an hour to get one drink after asking three times, the communication lacked a little between the staff as we had split bills and one of the members of staff hadn’t been communicated the directions and kept messing up which orders went on what bill.
But over all amazing.

While mum and I were on holiday in Cornwall we stumbled across this restaurant.
Excellent choices on the menu to cater for everyone. The food looked brilliant and tasted even better. I went for the catch of the day (Haddock on my visit) and was honestly the nicest haddock I’ve ever had. Mum went for the Mussels and wasn’t disappointed either.
Very friendly staff and the waiter who served us had excellent knowledge about the local sourcing of the seafood on the menu which is an added bonus!

My wife and I have been coming to Looe for the past 3 years eating at a different place each time and we wish we had been to Archies sooner!
Eaisly the best food we have had in town!
Highly reccomended.!!!
Especially the bacon and escallops.
