After having to hunt for the place (long story!)!! So glad we persevered - the chips were amazing best ever (trust me I've eaten a lot of chips), crispy outside and fluffy inside. The batter on the fish was so crunchy and delicious. Can't recommend this place highly enough... A must if your at Lossiemouth or surrounding area. Staff were so friendly too xx

We visited The Galley fish and chip shop on our visit to Lossiemouth.
The chips were very well cooked and the fish was fresh.
It was good value for money too.
Yum, great choices of food, excellent taste and very fresh. The staff are super friendly and the prices are OK. Definitely go for chiipy. Although they don't have chiipy sauce 😜

My wife, daughter, and I ordered fish suppers from here after a day driving and on the beach with the dogs. These were likely the best fish and chips we've ever eaten. My wife is American and is fairly used to this delicacy; she loved these. The staff were friendly and made our suppers to-order.

This is by far the best fish supper I've ever had. I'm from Fife and people rave about Anstruther chippy. I thought it was good until I had been here. Absolutely by a long shot the best I've ever tried!!!
Chips were amazing, fish was quite good. Coming from Aberdeen we eat quite a lot of fish so can be a little pernickety when it comes to a fish supper. All in all though our party of 8 enjoyed our meals without a chip being left so well done to the staff!!!

My husband ordered the fish and I ordered the jumbo sausage, both cooked to perfection.
Staff were lovely and are obviously a close working team.
We loved listening to the banter while we waited..we are from Glasgow so loved the accent.
Place is spotlessly clean,staff were cleaning when we waited.
Here for a few days on holiday will definitely be visiting again.

It's absolutely superb! And the staff were brilliant, friendly and overall just fantastic! They even sorted out my dogs with a tasty dinner treat!
The owner and his staff at this fish and chip shop could not have been nicer. They were busy cleaning the place from top to bottom. We had fish suppers and the famous east coast ‘mealie pudding’ suppers. Everybody agreed that our food was amazing... hot, fresh and tasty.
Try the Galley....you’ll be glad you did....
