We stayed for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious, well appointed & very quirky. Very old building with very wonky floors. The staff were lovely & the food was excellent. I can recommend the mackerel if it is still on the menu. Would most certainly go back there.
Well kept beer in a very hospitable pub. Evening meal of Pot Roast Shoulder of Lamb was out of this world. If our stay in the area was for a longer period the Globe would have a return visit
Came to Lostwithiel for the day to visit friends that were staying in the village. Called into the Globe for a drink and some food, Very friendly and welcoming staff, great food!! Will definitely come back next year :-)
Friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful staff. Delicious food, with good sized servings. Loved it and will be back.
Very friendly and the food was lovely. Stayed for 3 nights in a spacious, clean and comfy room. Couldn't find fault with anything and will definitely be recommending to friends and family.
Could not fault this pub at all, service was great very Friendly chatty Barman. Food was gorgeous 4 of us cleared our plates ., too full to have pud which I would have loved normally. Stayed in Lost Withiel for a week over Christmas will def go back again to the Globe xx

Wonderful food, lovely staff will make the Globe a regular eatery

Welcoming pub with separate Restaurant.
We had Sunday Roast (choice of 3 roasts) very nicely cooked, served in a pretty setting by friendly Team.
Well done
Great food and choice. Price as you would expect for the quality.
Called me a cab, and poured me a pint, when I got stranded. God bless the Cornish.
Fantastic food and lovely atmosphere definitely going back to try the menu again
Will runs an amazing establishment, perfect hospitality and supportive towards the LGBT community. Spot on!
Lovely food lovely place will be revisiting again this year
Just fantastic, was recommended by a friend, I called in without booking and they found me a table instantly even though they were busy. Food was out of this world with a great choice on the menu. Lovely local ales, great atmosphere and great service, I’ll definitely be back!
Wow what a surprise this was! We live in St Austell but fancied trying somewhere different for dinner, the pub has a really nice traditional vibe to it, the staff are super helpful and the food is absolutely incredible, lots of gluten free options and some really nice specials, the tomato soup was easily the best I’ve ever had and my husband was very impressed with the burger. Plus it’s dog friendly! We will be back!
Had a great meal. The fish batter was the best I've had for a long g time. The staff were great, fitted us in last minute, it is wheelchair accessible. We had a great meal. Would highly recommend
Only found this pub on our last day don't be put off by the outside it's amazing inside hadn't booked but the staff couldn't have been more helpful and told us we would have to wait which we were more than happy to do. Well the wait was worthwhile I had the burger which was one of the best I have had, my husband had pasta and was also pleased with it. Wish we had found it earlier.
The Globe Inn serves reasonable food at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and served us quickly but there was a long wait for the food to arrive. The atmosphere was good, with a nice mixture of locals and tourists. If in town, this is one of the better places to stop off for food and drink.
Very tasty seafood, beautiful use of herbs and other ingredients to enhance the flavour profile. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. We had to come back the second night!
Excellent meal and first class beers. Welcoming landlord and staff. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area. Handy for the railway and river
Great pub/ restaurant! Ate here twice during my stay in Lostwithiel, chose seafood specials for the mains and both were excellent dishes cooked to a good restaurant standard.
I had the best steak of my life here. I was concerned being a student whether spending £40 on a steak with a 'surf and turf' extra was going to be a bad life choice but I went for it. And boy! I did not regret it!! It was the scallops and what came with the steak that made it the best ever. The flavours were irresistible! 10 out of 10 🤤🤤. What a good choice of pub and my student loan could not have been better spent. Cheers tax payers.
Staff really friendly and the food was fantastic. All fresh, good quality ingredients, well cooked and lovely flavours. Particularly recommend the steak, scallops and burgers. Good choice of local real ales too.
