First visit to Loughborough in years. Let down elsewhere so tried Salims fairly late in the evening. A warm welcome in to comfortable surroundings and an extensive menu. The food was excellent - amongst the best Indian food I've ever eaten, and certainly not bettered anywhere I've tried. Very highly recommended for brilliant staff, superb food and very reasonable prices.

Had a very good meal here for a friends birthday. We had poppadoms with dips (standard) and went straight from that to a main. My partner and I shared rice. The Chicken Nariyali was a new dish for me that I would highly recommend. The customer service was good throughout and they gave us a round of shots at the end on the house. Excellent night.

Amazing food at reasonable prices. Had a lovely meal here with lots of choice on the menu. Even more impressed that we managed to get a table here at such short notice on a Friday night. Service and staff were also brilliant. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

First visit but made to feel like regulars. So much choice and so I asked the waiter if the chef could make me something nice!!! Chicken, egg, spicy but not too hot and whichever bread went with it!! Garlic naan and a beautiful curry! Perfect. So courteous and attentive without being pushy. Be back very soon.

Been coming here for years and never had a bad meal, either eating in or takeaway. Always my first choice when we fancy a curry. My wife could happily eat Naryali chicken every night!

After having a few takeaways from Salims we decided to eat in with the family. As usual everything was absolutely fantastic and the hospitality from Kaz and his team was amazing. We will not go anywhere else for an Indian now despite having a few in our area. 5* food and service. Thanks again Kaz

My favourite place to eat in Loughborough. Great food, warm plates and cold beer. Staff are friendly and accomodating often at short notice. It can get busy which shows many other people like Salims, so always book.

Salims is the best curry restaurant in Leicestershire. Fantastic customer service both eating in and home delivery. Garlic chilli chicken is a must try!

This family run restaurant will put the bigger chains such as Taste of India and Shaans on their feet. I have never had a better byriyani in a restaurant. The ambience will have Michelin star restaurants a run for their money. The staff are super friendly and make feel like you are eating at home not in a business formatted restaurant. This is the one place anyone visiting Loughborough should visit for a good time with food and drinks.

Walked in without an appointment, in a Friday night, and they couldn't have been more welcoming. Onion bhajis were the best I've had, and the mint sauce is amazing. Prawn Puri was delicious. Our mains were excellent as well, including a Peshwari naan that was light and fluffy and one of the best I've had. We'll definitely be back, if ever in Loughborough, again. Thank you to all the staff!

A fantastic meal at the never disappointing Salim's. Delicious food and attentive staff. Only knocked a star off as was advised they needed the table back in 10 minutes, but no-one arrived. We'd still got wine left, so it was ideal being rushed. But they weren't rude or anything

I AM SO ANNOYED!! Why.. as someone from the east end of Sheffield do I have to travel to Loughborough to find the best Indian food I've ever had?? 😆😆 Seriously - this place is awesome and you WILL be in love with the food. It's ridiculously good. To start, most local Indians will just go to Bookers / Costco / Makro and buy the cheapest shiz on the shelves. Not here. The food is obviously fresh and of good quality. Even the Poppadoms were obviously fresh and were crisp and tasty. Not oily or dry. But the mains. Ohhhhhh the mains. Quality cuts of meat in a fresh, glistening sauce that was obviously made from scratch. And absolutely DEEEEE-LISH-USSS!! Not sure if the photos do it justice but put naan breads were delivered in manageable sizes; not the ridiculous elephant ear size jobbies you often get. And tastes AMAZING!! The best part? Service was attentive but not intrusive. They looked for empty glasses but didn't pressure the customers. I cannot recommend this place enough. Absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to go back. Take a bow, Salim's. Take a bow.

I travelled from Brighton to Loughborough (about 5 hours) for a meeting and by the time I arrived it was too late to eat out and so ordered a takeaway from Salim's. It was worth the journey just to eat their food, never mind the meeting 🙂 Will definitely be going there the next time I am in Loughborough ♥️

If you want delicious curry in loughborough, Salims is the one. It’s quite expensive so probably more of a treat but a very nice treat. The curry portions are a perfect size too.

This is the best Indian food we have ever eaten! The food was a level above. The staff were very professional and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The curries were aromatic and the date and ginger naan was a innovative and delicious flavour combination. I live 3 hours away but I'm planning my return trip!
