Toby Carvery

As it was a special half price week it was very very busy but we got our table immediately ad the staff very friendly and efficient. We did not queue too long for our carvery which was delicious and usual size and quality (I expected the meat portions to be small as was half price) but no as normal lovely

My partner and myself had a carvery lunch here today and it really was lovely. I’m not a huge lover of certain veg however, there was plenty of choice so managed fine. Holly the chef was great, I was also taking a takeaway carvery for a daughter who is extremely picky, Holly couldn’t have been more helpful with my certain requirements. We were served by Michael, he was just so nice and it’s what you want in a restaurant, pleasant, polite and a smile. And to top this off…….they had 50% off the mains, so a winner all round. An enjoyable experience so thanks :)

Food was amazing, we was served as soon as we were shown to the table, was very busy didn't have to wait to long before we could order sweet, staff we're ok they didn't really go over board, cleaning up, but that was to be expected as it was there busy time, but all was lovely thank you all for your hard work. will highly recommend,

We arrived at 10am for breakfast and the staff seemed to be struggling keeping up with making sure all foods were available on the breakfast carvery, ran out of milk for hot drinks, did ask if the jug could be re-filled, the waitress was very polite, but appeared to be preoccupied getting tables cleared and ready for lunch. We do like a Toby breakfast so probably would eat there again if we were staying in the area.

Visited the Loughborough restaurant during the Summer. It was easy to book online and I didn't have to wait and was quickly shown to my table. I did have a small wait before I got my drink from a young gentleman who did apologise. I was able to get my carvery without any queuing. Good choice of meat and vegetables on offer nicely cooked and very enjoyable. I had the dairy ice cream for desert which again was excellent. Nice family friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff including Michael and Katie who served me and took my payment with no problems

We came here for a midweek lunch (1 adult, 2 teenagers) and were not disappointed. We all had a roast meal from the carvery. The meat was good quality (carved for us) and there was a big selection of well cooked vegetables (self service). We didn't go for the two course meal deal as we were full but the desserts sounded tempting. The eating area is smart enough but you probably wouldn't bring someone here if you were trying to impress them. It is perfect if you want a decent quality roast meal at a good price. A bonus was that, for our visit, the bar was serving Tribute beer from St Austell Brewery. We'd happily come here again.
