The first weekend post lockdown, the sun was shining and the table was booked.
I was slightly apprehensive as to what I expected, having never visited pre lockdown. However I was very pleasantly surprised.
The organisation was brilliant, the set out of the tables enabled all to social distance when seated or moving around. The service was amazing, friendly and welcoming. I felt safe and at ease during my visit.

This is my first time here and a bit quiet possibly because of pandemic. The staff are very friendly. Food was good. To make an order from the garden was a bit long walk to get around. Garden seating area was excellent idea. I may probably come back here to try their other menu because we only had beer and snacks.

We celebrated a friend’s 70th birthday in the steam garden . Delicious food, generous portions and
excellent service. It is not often one sees a steam
train so was quite an experience.

Really friendly staff, great gin, swanky sofas and THE Best homemade slaw we even took a portion home. I had the chicken and my husband had the cheeseburger and loved it 🍔

We went for a family meal at the Steam Gardens in Loughborough recently. It was the first time we'd been out for a restuarant meal since lockdown. We found the staff very attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. Our teenage son really enjoyed the food.

The Steam garden has become a favourite spot for my husband and I. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the setting is perfect to watch the steam trains go by. Food is lovely, you have to try the haluomi fries!! Amazing!!

Great garden space and Covid safe! Really nice staff and the burritos are great! Not tried the cheesy chips yet..... Oh and they sell my favourite beer - Charnwood Brewery IPA

I regularly visit the Steam Garden, with family, with friends and have even popped in for a quick drink and bite by myself.
The staff as so friendly, courteous and can't do enough for the customers, the food is excellent and what a view from the Gardens!
Totally recommend The Steam Garden it's awesome, urge you to try out, you be won't be disappointed!

Gorgeous garden, friendly, helpful staff & really tasty food (especially the sticky bbq ribs!) The steam trains are an added bonus, but I’d go just for the food!
