The Thatch Restaurant - Lowestoft - Photo album

Dropped in for a coffee whilst having a Sunday morning walk along Lowestoft promenade. There's plenty of seating outside if a nice day and more inside if inclement. We only had cappuccino so can't comment on the food, but the cakes and scones on display looked very nice.
One of the best places which has the best hunters chicken in the town. To top it, the view of the open sea is breathtaking. The portion of the food is really good. It took a while for the order to be prepared but it was totally worth it. It looked fresh and well cooked + the taste was amazing. They

I have visited this cafe and restaurant on several occasions over many years. Last week I only ordered a latte coffee which I drank in the outside seating area in the sunshine. Cooked meals, desserts, cakes, icecreams other hot and cold drinks are served. Helpful, friendly staff. Inside the cafe and
We stopped here on a very windy morning to get out of the rain and were very pleased to find a cosy and friendly cafe serving a really good selection of food including delicious breakfasts (til midday) and lunches. I opted for the full English breakfast and was really pleased I did - really generous
Met a friend here. Food was nice, service was lovely and the place was packed. Volume of customers speaks for itself, would definitely go again. Has a lovely outdoor seating area.
Really, really, good brekkie here, class sausages says it all, but lovely all around. Doggie friendly outside, shame not inside, but weather was lovely and the extra sausage for Harvey (dog) went down very well
Popped in here on Sunday for breakfast. I had one of their fruit scones. It was delicious. I've had them before and I have to say they are the nicest scones I've had. They only lost a star because apart from possibly the vegetarian breakfast and brunch, that you could maybe have without the egg, the

Really nice, homely place. Great food at good prices and amazing, friendly staff. Little play area for the children outside and a view of the Lowestoft coast. Highly recommended... you couldn't ask for more.
Not a bad place to enjoy a light lunch breakfast looked good but didn't have one
Food is brilliant, friendly staff, whole area inside and is very clean. When eating outside great views of the sea.
Lovely inside or garden style café. The best prawn sandwich! Relaxed and attentive atmosphere. Well done 👏 ✔️
