The White Horse - Lowestoft - Photo album

We both had Sunday roast and the meat was nicely cooked and a generous portion for the price. Lovely vegetables to accompany to including a leek and cheese bake with breadcrumbs which was very tasty along with a very nice caramelised roast carrot, parsnip, potatoes, red cabbage, mixed veg and peas a
Fantastic place. Lovely food. Brilliant staff. All round excellent.
The White Horse is very friendly, and very welcoming to dogs. The food was great. Cod and chips was stunning, the portions were large. The homemade scampi was so good. The local butchers sausages were meaty and flavour filled. Biscuits and water were available for our dog. And nuggets were served fo
Popped in today with my dad and had a very pleasant surprise! Had burger meal with onion rings but forgot to take a pic. The food is excellent, hand prepared and cooked perfectly as well as reasonably priced. Definitely going back.
***Edited for new menu. First day of the new menu and it was out of this world. Brisket pie was rich and deeply flavoured. Hake was amazing with so many flavours. What a gem! Brilliant staff with a very surprising menu. Highly recommended. Dog friendly.
Nice pub - very friendly atmosphere and good service. Sadly they were short staffed so we waited exceptionally long for dinner - but overall it was a nice evening as we were not really in a rush. If in the area definitely worth a visit.
Very pleasant and welcoming pub. Fantastic service - very attentive. The food was incredible - absolutely delicious and exceeded expectations! Want to come back to this part of the country just for this pub! The staff and owners are also very lovely.
On holiday at Broadland SANDS wanted somewhere we could take Rosie, our chocolate lab. The first time we went we had the chicken bites and chips in a basket which were really tasty. Next day we went back for lunch with friends. Again the food was delicious. The lady behind the bar was hilarious, w
Good local restaurant/ pub to enjoy a pint of local beer and grab some food. First time i've actually seen Onion Rings, handmade and the desert, very tasty and handmade not purchased from somewhere and resold.
Lovely staff and brilliant food. I didn't expect it at all but this pub is my number one. One thing to mention please connect the music to your wall speakers. Even though the staff make it possible to listen to music another way. I have to say you are simply the best!
What a lovely and friendly pub. Was quiet when I visited with family but the staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was amazing especially the Homemade Scampi. The desserts were just as good. We all had the cheesecakes. Good prices and some lovely crafts to buy as well. Definitely return
Out for a couple of drinks and ended up having lunch very reasonably priced and very nice food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Nice atmosphere polite staff great service 😎👍
Great pub and great food. Has a small playground area but enough to keep our 4 year old and her friend busy while we waited for our food. Desert is amazing as all of them are hand made and they are delicious. There is seating available inside but also in the garden.
While on holiday in Corton we visited this place for a birthday meal. There was 13 of us and we all ordered and were really pleased with the food. Everything was home cooked. It was lovely. The owners have really done well. There is a little shop , ice cream hut, safe play area for the little ones a
Had a lovely lunch here. All freshly prepared. Chef was really helpful making changes to a dish so it was dairy free for me. Lots of vegan choices too. Definitely will return
Good and busy pub. Lovely playgroup for kids and good choice of deserts. The burger was fresh and good taste
What a find! Lovely pub with good beer, friendly landlord and landlady. Excellent menu, unfortunately we only wanted light lunch but very nice and bonus points for dressing the salad garnish! Also incorporates a village shop which feels like a real community service and is how I found the pub. Overa
Our 1st visit today so not quite sure what we should expect. Service was very friendly, (sorry I can't remember the ladies name) and food was very good and great value. If you've not been it's well worth a try. We'll be back. Thank you.
