Visited for Friday Steak Night. Excellent value for money, £30 for two, Steak and trimmings plus bottle of house wine. Quality and quantity far surpassed expectations . Lovely venue and attentive staff without being intrusive. Very impressed.
Went for dinner and we were the only ones there so didn't do great for the atmosphere but the service was great. We did get the wrong tables food but this was soon realised and taken to the correct table, lucky as my wife was just about to cut in to her pork dish. I had the lamb and the portion was

I'd been here on my own several years ago and found everything to be excellent. I was looking for somewhere to book to take a good friend for a birthday lunch that she hadn't been to before. Attended CoC event for 200+, very good food, good service and lovely venue. Service at bar a bit slow, needed more staff here.
