Claremont Pier - Lowestoft - Photo album

A very small pier but there are plenty of slot machines to keep the children entertained. I've given an extra * because all the staff really spoil the young children (prizes etc)
Since the new owners this place has completely transformed I visit once a year and spent all my days here this time round! Sports bar upstairs is amazing and shows all sports really kind staff and clean and tasty food!
I absolutely love this venue, Still a recent take over the new owner have done nothing but move forward and improve the venue, Being able to walk out onto the pier is beautiful and so nice after many years of being closed. There was a night club there which I had the chance to visit but I've sinc
Everyone loves a pier right?, well this ones very short with a great amusement arcade with an exit at the rear to what is a short pier. Free to walk through and a bar and fish n chip shop/restaurant either side.
Lovely.place for an afternoon, great fish and chips, fantastic wide sandy beach, large selection of arcades. Have visited in Autumn and Winter, played football on the beach abd exercised our dog. Can't wait to go in the summer! It will be stunning! No dogs then tho X
A basic but quant little pier and seaside. We went in the wet and wild weather of September but there is nothing more amazing than the lashing seaside and a quick warm up and play in the arcade.
Old fashioned pier on a wonderful seafront and massive arcade and places to eat around here I had a walk down the pier there was a bit of the pier open and so happy to take photos of the outstanding views of the beach and the North sea staff on the pier were friendly too toilets are on the Promenade
Due to damage to the end of the pier, you can't get to the far end. However, if you walk through the amusement arcade you will get to an outside area, where you can see the damaged section.
Most of the shops were closed except the arcade. It was really lovely and quiet. Then we walked on the beach
Stopped off here for a latte in December. The pier is a non event but the rooftop terrace was welcoming and the staff were as good as it gets. Sat by the window with a view of the beach enjoyed it. Thank you.
