Claremont Pier - Lowestoft - Photo album

I absolutely love this venue, Still a recent take over the new owner have done nothing but move forward and improve the venue, Being able to walk out onto the pier is beautiful and so nice after many years of being closed. There was a night club there which I had the chance to visit but I've sinc
A basic but quant little pier and seaside. We went in the wet and wild weather of September but there is nothing more amazing than the lashing seaside and a quick warm up and play in the arcade.
Old fashioned pier on a wonderful seafront and massive arcade and places to eat around here I had a walk down the pier there was a bit of the pier open and so happy to take photos of the outstanding views of the beach and the North sea staff on the pier were friendly too toilets are on the Promenade
Visited the new bar on the upper level. It has sports screens but also plenty of room to move away if you prefer. Large windows provide a stunning view over the sea and there is a lovely terrace facing the Victorian villas.
Due to damage to the end of the pier, you can't get to the far end. However, if you walk through the amusement arcade you will get to an outside area, where you can see the damaged section.
Lovely peaceful and beautiful view of the sea and people enjoying themselves swimming, canoeing, walking their dogs, cycling or just walking around.
Great place, wonderfull and clean beach, lifeguards and a lot of good restaurants. Parkingareas!
I recently visited Claremont Pier and had a great time. The pier offers a range of activities and attractions, including amusement arcades, a bar, and a restaurant. I particularly enjoyed the arcade games, which were in good condition and provided plenty of entertainment. One of the highlights of m
Love coming here for the arcades and ic cream. Lovely place.
Beautiful sandy beech and the arcade was huge!
Perfect place! Celebrated a birthday here. The staff is kind and nice, they made a gift dish from the cafe!
Great to see some much needed investment in our Pier, two great themed bars with some excellent seating. Looking forward to checking out the new restaurant, 'Jus' Winging It' soon. Would have been 5 stars but the prices are slightly higher than the Lowestoft average, don't let that put you off thou
Nice pier, amusements, cafe, ice cream stand at the front, nothing else down the pier, I'm not sure if you can walk to the end or not. The bar above the pier looks nice, the light show at the end of October looked good. Big car park next to the entrance and a nice beach too.
Good fish and chips, standard amusements, but the pier you can access is rather short.
Great place away from the crowds Great sandy beach and Dogs can go on the sand and cafe also let dogs in the cafe
Lovely day catching up on friendship in the bar area, beautiful seating outside.
An Edwardian pier on Lowestoft's South Beach, once featuring paddle steamers and now featuring amusements, a bar, and fish & chips. Sadly, you cannot currently walk out over the waves. But I enjoyed my chips and the service was friendly.
The Fish and chips were amazing and priced so well. At home we'd pay over double the price for the same thing. Would definitely visit again.
