Our 1st time at dirty Thursday courtyard bistro and it's absolutely brilliant, we sampled a great selection of the menu and all the food served is freshly cooked and really tasty. The portion sizes are good and plentiful and it's a place that has alot of atmosphere... The place is buzzing and they even have a live singer on. Apart from the food the staff are very attentive and served our table really well... Would definitely recommend it
Came here yesterday evening with the girls, was our first visit and it will not be our last. Fab atmosphere, amazing food, cocktails spot on � and the staff were fantastic, particularly Charlie!! Friendly, warm service and nothing was too much trouble .Can't recommend this little place enough �

Been a few times but not on a Thursday, it was great, great burgers, nice beer, staff were very friendly as usual and the guy singing with his guitar was a very cool touch, highly recommend ���

We have are at the bistro a few times and have never had a bad meal. Went in a group of 8 last night, the place has been redecorated since we were there last and looks fab and our meals were divine! We recently went to Gaucho in Manchester and paid stupid money for steak and it wasn't a patch on the steak we had here last night. Everything really was amazing!
Absolutely love this place and have been on many of occasions. All of the food served has been of a high quality and tastes amazing. Also loving the added touch of the cocktails now which are a must! I will be retuning soon
We recently visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was amazing. The staff worked tirelessly and couldn’t do enough for you, even at it’s busiest. Highly recommended.
First visit last night even though we're local. Fantastic food and atmosphere. All staff were very friendly and efficient. Cant wait to go again and try the Sunday roast. Would definitely recommend it.
We went yesterday (Sunday at 6pm) ... still really busy with a cosy atmosphere even with a big booking in on the other side.
The chicken was delicious as was the beef .
Got to say the Nutella cheesecake with peanut butter Ice-cream was to die for !!

This place is tucked away in Lowton but well worth a visit if you want to experience first class dining.

Went on a Sunday night with the kids really nice friendly atmosphere. Menu was fantastic difficult to choose which meal. Kids menu was great my 5 year old had a perfectly cooked steak. Will defo be returning �

This was a find by chance on a Google search for food in the area, we don’t live in this region or know of it. Delighted to find it, very cute bistro, no loud music or pub atmosphere, a garden room bistro that was fresh and light. We enjoyed our Sunday roasts very much and plan to return.
A Hidden gem....lovely place with friendly staff. This is a perfect spot for any occasion, couples, friends and family meals. The food was delicious. We'll be back again no doubt soon
After a hiccup on our 1st visit in Feb we decided to give this Bistro a 2nd chance,, so glad we did. The Sunday roast was delicious 1 beef and 1 lamb. Starters really good too. Staff very attentive and prices great. Definitely will visit again ☺️.
Couldn't have asked for a better first meal out since lockdown was eased!! This place never disappoints. The food is always amazing and the staff are fantastic. Already planning our next trip!

Surprise waiting inside as exterior unique with a small car park, once entering greeted by a very pleasant waitress really friendly and professional, two others waiting on, and serving drinks extremely attentive, excellent food and very child friendly good menu not excessive but just right,
Nice wines and selection of spirits not a large selection of beers but decent quality food was very nicely presented and again good quality and cooked perfect we all had a variety of dishes not kept waiting at all very attentive staff excellent place to dine out usual prices which is fine when there's a decent chef and good quality food

It was the first time we have been to the Courtyard since living in Leigh for over a year. It is quietly tucked away near the co op in Lowton.
Really attentive staff, all really warm and welcoming from entering to leaving.
Food was lovely and so was the atmosphere. Good variety of drinks available.
Parking is a little restricted but there is a car park around the corner for the co op where you could also park.
Would definitely recommend and will be returning in the future.
A nice place but on our trip the service was incredibly slow. We had to keep asking about our food - it eventually came 55 mins later. Disappointing that they didn't have the vegan Yorkshire pudding, though they still had the vegan roast. Not sure why they wouldn't make sure they had the same amount! The food was delicious though, but only a very small portion.
Really tasty food and reasonably priced. Hilarious children menu that even made our teen laugh. The slow roast beef with a giant Yorkshire pudding was delicious.

Went for daughter's birthday, her choice. Looked at menu on line and thought it looked OK. Once there we were served drinks quickly and left to select food, which I liked. Once ordered food arrived in a reasonable time even though the bistro was very busy. Food was very, very good and service was excellent from very helpful friendly staff. Definitely on our list of places to go again. Thank you.
Lowton needs more of these type of places! Small restaurant. Excellent quality food, great service. AND you can bring your own booze! (Wine/sparkling wine) (Bargain Booze across the road) you’ll need to make a reservation on weekends. It will be worth it.
