Really enjoyed our stop here! Grumpy's Dip was outstanding. Everyone in the place was friendly from the locals to the bartenders to Tom himself! Will definitely be back next time in town!

This is one of the best places to go and Ludlow. It is a fixture in the community and well known amongst all skiers that visit. If you come to town this is a place you just can’t miss!!! I’ll let you in on a little secret he’s not as grumpy as you think and the staff is outstanding!!!!

Great little spot for aprés ski. Close quarters and will fill up fast, but great vibes. Its steps away from the base of Stowe and is the perfect option to wait out the shuttle line and traffic at the end of the day. The food is solid bar food and everything is reasonably priced. Cant wait to stop in again!

Old school tavern with all good bar food. The place is always full, which is a good thing. Lots of different food.
I got the burger, which was good. The wings were delicious as well. It took sometime for us to good the food but it was worth the wait. The place is not as big as I thought it is, but it was still a pretty good experience.

BEST PULLED PORK NACHOS IVE EVER HAD!! Literally there isn’t a more fun place to get after ski drinks. The bartender from Massachusetts is the greatest and makes the best drinks. Highly recommend

Anything less than five stars here is absolute nonsense. Disregard it. A gem at an otherwise corporate mountain. An old school apres spot with incredibly retro vibes. Like going back in time. One of the best in the entire northeast, if not the whole country.

Cold beer, good food, and great staff. Unlike they advertise. "Warm beer, lousy food, and grumpy owner". Waitress gave us complimentary shots because she forgot to refill our beers. It was completely unnecessary but greatly appreciated. Wings are pretty good here. Decent selection of beers to choose from. Lots of space inside.

While visiting Vermont, my husband and I found this gem in Ludlow!! This was 3 days after they opened back up after COVID closure and we were lucky to get a table! The atmosphere is great, the wait staff is very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. We will be back!!!
