Review Primrose Tea Rooms - Lustleigh

Abbey Church (AC)
Such a beautiful setting, amazing and friendly staff, and gorgeous locally made food. I had the high tea with a darjeeling, mint chocolate cake with rhubarb jam. Everything was fresh and comfy, and my Adam (a chocolate lab) found it comfy and calm for him too.

A great find at the end of a walk. Although they were about to close they got our drinks and cakes for a take away and we were able to sit in their garden. Which was great. Really good selection of cakes with gluten free options. Well worth a visit, guess they will be busy as not many options in Lustleigh for cafe.

We travelled specifically to this village for their cream tea. We knew we were in for a good lunch when most of the tea room was full. Honestly the best cream tea we have ever had!!! DELICIOUS! It also comes on lovely bone china. We also got a cheese sandwhich which was lovely and the salad on the side was fantastic. The portion sizes are generous and prices fair. I couldnt recommend this place more 😁 see the pics if you dont believe me!

Fabulous cafe. Very friendly staff. Flat white was excellent and shared a coronation chicken sandwich which was amazing! Well worth going out of your way to find this gem. Also dog friendly.

This is a lovely place. Friendly staff, good food, and a very nice garden/terras with lots of beautiful flowers and plants. It's located in the middle of the village, which is super cute. The cakes and pies looked amazing, but we didn't try them. You can order everything for to go as well.

Absolute gem of a tearoom that we stumbled across in a very small village. Beautiful little cottage which is immaculate throughout. Food was amazing and reasonably priced for what you got. Staff very friendly and attentive too.

Oh my gosh... Never ate such a delicious scone, carrot cake or clotted cream. The Cappuccino and the Hot chocolate tasted like pure heaven. An absolutely must visit in the Dartmoor Region.

A round of toasted teacakes and tea, all excellent, served in lovely surroundings. The cheese scone is also thoroughly recommended. And the staff were so helpful when we were looking to meet up with someone local to the area. Can't recommend enough.

Such a pretty tea room and garden. A great choice and such tasty food as well. We sat outside to enjoy the weather so food/drinks is still go up to get it when it’s ready/packaged in boxes/paper cups etc. Hopefully this will be updated back soon to traditional tea pots/cups/plates for outside sittings as well. A great place to visit highly recommend thank you 😊
