I came here yesterday afternoon for lunch, me and my partner walked in and we were stood there about 4/5 minutes waiting to be seated although staff acknowledged us standing there and that wasn't good as the restaurant wasn't busy.
Then we got seated and the waiter was very polite and accommodating and the other waitress who came to check if our food was ok. Good service.
The food was delicious I had a started and it was fried mozzarella in breadcrumbs I was surprised they had it as not many Italian restaurant do and it was lovely. For my main I had a mussels and king prawn pasta and it was very nice you could really taste the freshness of the sea food.
The cocktails were lovely to! Would definitely recommend.

Came here for lunch and wasn't disappointed. The pasta was cooked perfectly and was full of flavour. They have lots of options on the menu including seafood, and also have a great selection of desserts to choose from. As well as the main menu, they have a lunch menu (which is what we ordered from) with good sized portions at reasonable prices. Will definitely be coming back for another lunchtime visit.

Amazing food! Lots of choice and everything we ordered was tasty and a good portion size. The ice cream was also great. The staff were very lovely and helpful. So glad we chose to come here!

Excellent Italian food. We had pasta and spaghetti, garlic bread and various other traditional Italian dishes. Our celebration 🍾party of 12 thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the place. We had adults and children in our party including a 8 month old. He was provided with a baby 👶seat where he drank his milk and the baby food we provided. We were socially distanced from other customers in a really snug part. The service was first rate from very competent staff. Nothing was too much trouble and service tip is included in the price you pay! Everyone had a first rate time and we would certainly recommend anyone else to go.

Our flight was cancelled and we looked for a good restaurant to cheer us up, luckily we found it. The food was excellent!

Axtelera Ray

Team AXR has achieved several milestones at this location. Check it out in our 2015 documentary. Highly recommended! The restaurant is cosy and has a lot of different rooms. There is a large ‘outside’ area covered with glass which is lovely on sunny days and very well heated. There is also nice candles on each table and the lighting does make the place very warm and peaceful. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The menu has a variety of different dishes, from pizza and pasta, to different types of meats and traditional dishes. The carbonara are absolutely delicious and the pizzas are very well made. One of the best Italian restaurants around. Highly recommended!

Read the reviews and there was a lot of criticism over the staff but we thought we would still give it a go and so glad we did , both waitresses greater us with smiles and both very polite , food was amazing would definitely come back 💙💙

I had a nice dinner here, the food was nice and there was a beautiful conservatory. There was a large selection of meals on the menu and also a lunchtime offer. The staff were attentive and polite. I’ll be revising here again and would definitely recommend to those in the area

Well the food is good, had great fun along with my friends. Little less options for vegetarians. Friendly staff and good ambience. For the entertainment we had a little magic trick of cards from one of the guys which was really good.
