An overall decent and well-designed airport. It caters to a significant number of airlines and destinations, and there are ample amenities onsite. There are cafes, restaurants, etc available for you while you wait, and baggage check seemed to move quickly. I found staff to be quite unfriendly though, and directions around the airport are not very precise and consistent.
One of the easiest and quietest airports I have used in my holiday travels. London Luton Airport has good facilities including toilets, nice restaurants, easy parking, shuttle buses, seating areas, and more. Staff are all pleasant and friendly, and boarding your plane and going through security is very easy and smooth. Would recommend this airport over others.
Very nice airport, there are still construction works going on. Few queues when we were there, nice shops. Water fountain straight after security 😁, nice toilets, all good. We used the justpark app to find a parking space (cheap) and caught the bus which stopped right outside the departure terminal 😊
London airport for budget airlines. No frills, but systems here work well. Main problem is getting here. I took a National Express bus here on a Sunday, and there aren't many choices, so I arrive 4h before the ETD. No problem. I'd rather be early than late.
There's a prayer room, which is rejuvenation, to be able to sit quietly without the bustle in the main areas.
Modern travel these days, everything is on the phone app. There are good places here to weigh your bags and make any adjustments before paying extra at the checkin desk.
Nice airport with plenty of parking, lots of eateries and shops inside. Quiet expensive though. Even duty free seemed on the pricy side. Lots of chairs to sit on while you wait for flight, can be really crowded at times on popular routes. All services available. Quiet quick through security and check in for us to Lithuania at 5.50am flight.
Every time when you'll go through this airport it's a new adventure because this place is under constantly and never ending improvement and refurbishment. Fortunately this time security checks and queues were OK but sometimes it's absolutely ballistic and taking ages. But if you're tight by your connection flight or destination to this airport you don't have a choice, just need to go through this.
The only thing which did not change through all these years and improvements is very hard to find place to sit because it's always packed to the limits.
Greatly improved airport. The renovations were done and the space looks better. More importantly the queues were fast, boarding smooth and no problems encountered definitely an improvement from a few years ago. Recommend taking the coach national express to here
Good sized airport with basic facilities and easy access for domestic flights. The queues were really really long for security because it was a bank holiday weekend. Our Wizz Air flight was 2 hours late. On our way back home we bought ready to eat food from M&S foods.
This airport is decent. It's a really long walk from the drop off areas. And when returning it's an extremely long walk to the parking garage where you can be picked up. The only train we have used this airport is it offers flights to Greece and Switzerland when stansted does not. Overall the shopping is decent. There are not a ton of shopping or food options compared to other airports but it is a smaller airport so that is expected.
A no frills airport, for all the no frills airlines! There can be a massive line at the customs, but it mosylyoves fast. Hard to get an Uber, the best option is to take the Dart from the airport to the transfer center, and then jump on the airport express (around 20, not 10 as the signs say). Around 40 - 50 mins to get back to London.
