First visit.. Very popular with families. Secure play area for children. Car park full. Food ok we had fish Friday £11 fish chips peas tartar sauce plus a drink. Chips a bit hard but over all good value for money. Nicely presented. Friendly staff. Plus you can also have a walk along the canal.

Our 2nd monthly lunch outing. 12 of us last month 8 this month. Couldnt fault the quality of food and the service. The gammon steak is excellent. See you next month

Visited tonight and was genuinely impressed staff couldn't do enough for us food was beautiful! Very good value for money as we're the drinks. My boyfriends dad loves a desert but was stuffed after a Huge portion of fish and chips, so the management had no problem letting him take a desert home. We have already planned what we will be having on our next visit xxx

We have had so many different meals at the Running Horses while our kitchen has been renewed, every meal has been delicious and today Sunday roast beef and chicken 🍽 amazing 👏 the youngsters had burgers 🍔 and yes, loved them. A big thanks to Lyndsey and her staff for making us feel so welcome.

Had a meal here today with my family. Place is in a beautiful location on the canal. Staff were friendly and service was great. We had chicken and beef roast dinners and they were delicious. Also had chicken burger and ranch burger my husband and son said they were amazing. We will definitely be back. Lovely outside area for the summer.

Excellent service from extremely friendly staff. The food was served quickly and it was cooked fresh to order. I can honestly say the food was devine. I had the Reaper Burger and it is one of the best burgers that I have ever tasted. It was cooked to perfection and flavours were on another level. I will definitely be returning.

Great pub has been one of my favourites for a long time , have recently updated the menu and its looks fantastic there is heaps of choice. The staff are friendly and welcoming, would definitely recommend a visit . Ideal pub for the summer months.

Thank you for making us feel so welcome. This is a beautiful pub. Staff were amazing. Went with grandson who is autistic and they were fantastic with him. Food was lovely. Veggie roast dinner was spot on. Best roast potatoes I've had. Well worth a visit. Will definitely be going back again.

Couldn't recommend this place enough. Lovely canal walk ending here on a Saturday night. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. So very friendly. Food AMAZING and the gin was delicious too. Hope to come back sometime because that menu there was not one item on there I wouldn't have ordered!!!! Nothing better than an evening walk and finding this beautifully lit pub on the way! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very nice place with a very friendly atmosphere too, food was very good and also very hot and fresh too. Not your normal pub grub this place is a good few levels up from that. Looks like we will deffo be going back maybe sooner rather than later. Live to go around Christmas time too as looks very cozy and delightful too. Make sure you visit soon ......
