We hadn't booked but they managed to squeeze us in. It was a Tuesday night and the place was packed. Food was served quickly and was delicious. We've been to Lal Qilla every time we stay in Lyme and it is consistently good.

I’m on holiday in Lyme Regis and tonight fancied a curry. My ‘Go To’ dish is always Chicken Tikka Madras. I have found that not all restaurants can create the complex and extremely tasty flavour of a Madras sauce. Lal Qilla certainly can. The taste was perfect and the tikka pieces succulent. Service

An excellent ‘traditional’ Indian restaurant. The staff are very friendly, the service very good and the food excellent. No drinks licence so remember to take your own tipple. Very reasonable cost be it ‘eat in’ or ‘takeaway’.
It was decent, our food was a little sweet, not very spicy, despite being a masala (not the hottest I know, but too sweet).
