I had such a lovely celebration engagement tastes meal. The taster menu was delicious and bigger than small bites but must be perfected because you could eat the 7 dishes. I also liked that this restaurant had good service and the staff paid attention to detail whilst managing not to make the restaurant pretentious and unfriendly. For us this is a find and we will def be back when next in the area. We found it very good value for money too x

A lovely place to stay, great location, attentive warm and friendly owners and staff and a superb chef! Perfect for B&B with a continental breakfast. Dandelion room: Extremely comfy double bed with a duvet you could get lost in...and a very large ensuite bathroom. I highly recommend The Elderflower for lunch, dinner and or accommodation. It should definitely be on your list of things to do when in Lymington.

A hidden gem!!! Don't walk past this one without checking out the delicious French cuisine (they describe themselves as a quintessentially British restaurant but they are selling themselves short to say the least!!). Beats any Michelin started restaurant hands down.

Always stunning food. Combinations you will not have had before or would ever think of. Recommend you go for the tasting menu of you want to be blown away. Service always matches the incredible food.

I've written a full review on my SmarterFitter blog but here is an excerpt: the standout dish was by far the mushrooms served on celariac puree, topped with crispy kale and toasted pine nuts. The pudding was the most inventive and delicious execution of rhubarb I’ve ever had, made all the better with fennel-infused Turkish delight. I am particularly grateful to Andrew for our grand finale: a cocktail lesson featuring his own elderflower cordial...And if all that weren’t enough, The Elderflower has a dessert called “British and French Cheese Journey”. Unfortunately we had a long drive ahead of us and weren’t sure if a full stomach of cheese and wine was really wise for the road. And after all, better to leave wanting more. We’ll be back soon!

If you haven't been you need to. Amazing food and service. Wow - better than anything you will get in London. There is a reason why he has been voted the top chef in Hampshire!

Just stunning cooking every time we've been, a fantastic welcome, and a cosy, unstuffy place to unwind and enjoy a couple of hours. A restaurant with real personality!

What a fantastic restaurant, I had the black sheep which was beautiful and the new rhubarb pudding which was stunning. The service was amazing and I was amazed at how reasonably priced it was especially the wine. I would highly recommend it and can't wait to go back.

Excellent food and service. Went for the 7 course taster menu and it didn't disappoint. The resteraunt also serves takeaway fish and chips and so people did occasionally walk in to order which seemed at odds with and interrupted the otherwise good atmosphere.

A deserving three Rosetta restaurant. Very good quality seafood that serves w innovative sauces to complement. The tomato desert dish is very interesting, but seem more like a palate cleanser to me. It is the best restaurant in Lymington.

Firstly, the food at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail, resulting in a culinary journey that was both exciting and satisfying. The flavors were expertly balanced, and the presentation was simply stunning. From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, every course was a delight to the senses. In addition to the exquisite food, the service was equally impressive. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make your dining experience memorable. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a truly special dining experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a memorable meal, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

A lovely birthday treat that was truly a pleasure from start to finish. The service was fantastic, staff were professional throughout. The food was deserving of the three rosettes. The wine was suitably priced and a fantastic evening was had. Recommended.

This is my favourite restaurant in the UK. So much passion, creativity, and dedication goes into a faultless service with so many flavour sensations. There are high notes with every tasting plate, you cannot pick a favourite. And the fact the menu changes with the seasons and what is locally available at the time shows a level of skill, inventiveness, and focus on nature. You must go.

Came here to celebrate 7 years together, nice to go somewhere a bit fancy and this place has been on our list for a while! No issues with the £80 deposit, as unless you plan on not showing up then what's the problem. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. We went for the 5 course tasting menu and the food was great, lovely flavours and well presented. Small portions as is with this style of food, but at least that way you can enjoy the flavours of every course. Extensive selection of wines, maybe a little more expensive that I would expect, but more than enough to choose from. Overall I would thoroughly recommend coming here if you are looking for a nice dinner full of flavour. We would love to come again in a different season and try out what else they have to offer.

We were lucky enough to get a table here on New Year's Eve. Upon arrival, the service was great and well thought through right down to the smallest detail. And then the food and drink arrived, and some how it got even better! We could not fault anything and will definitely make the effort to return if we are back in the area again.
