New Forest Inn Restaurant - Lyndhurst - Photo album

We stopped here for lunch after a recommendation from a friend, the area was lovely, easy parking and lots of horses freely roaming for the grandchildren to enjoy. We had the roast beef and chicken sandwiches with fries , these were superb....the cut of the beef was quite thick and cooked pink whi
The service was excellent (every staff we met), so were the meals (delicious and sufficient portion). The location and the size of car park might be a bit tricky for people, especially on a raining day. The settings in and out are both well designed, very relaxing and comfy feel, put you at ease as
We felt welcome from the moment we entered for lunch. Very traditional and rustic pub and has a proper country feel about it. There is a great selection of beers and the sandwiches were delicious. The pies looked incredible and will have those next time we stop in!
Very Welcoming and friendly staff, closed conservatory area for a birthday celebration. Good food. Dog friendly Rooms well equipped and clean. Parking is limited but would definitely go back.
The pub is very nice. A massive garden out the back with lots of seating. Food was good but not outstanding and the beer selection was average. I had ham egg and chips...chips were good, ham was OK, eggs looked to be of good quality but slightly overcooked for my liking...and way too many peas! My f
My wife and I were down in the snug area. We were the only ones in there which was nice. There was some music playing in the whole inn but it was subdued. So one could have a conversation without resorting to bellowing. As expected the meal was brilliant. For a starter I went for the Breaded crea
Exceptionally clean bathroom! Great service, attentive staff. Lovely sunroom in the back and outdoor garden seating. The presentation of the food was great, we had the sea bass, new forest chicken sandwich and steak and ale pie. For the pie, the portion size was huge and the chips were good and cris
I've given 5 stars to all aspects as I believe it to be a fair, overall assessment of the premises and the people who run it. The location is really lovely with wild pony's wandering all over the place. STAFF We stayed for four nights and we found the staff to be genuinely very friendly and accommo
Perfect stay! Really friendly owners and staff. The menu was varied, and the food was delicious. The room was faultlessly clean & the bed very comfortable. A perfect place to stay for a wedding we were attending but also to explore. Would definitely recommend 👌
Have driven past the New Forest Inn many times so popped in for lunch, the welcome service and food was all exemplary. One of the Nicest place we have found in the area. And very dog friendly too a big plus ! Would highly recommend.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The New Forest Inn in Lyndhurst, where I had the opportunity to enjoy their vegan and gluten-free options while the rest of my dining companions indulged in meat dishes. I must say, the restaurant's accommodation of different dietary preferences was truly imp
We passed by and went back for dinner on Bank Holiday Monday. Had a lovely vibe. And a busy bar. But sensibly lots of staff working - ready for when it was really busy! A friendly face met us and took our drinks order. And advised food was available and to grab a table number. We ordered food (Gr
Absolutely fabulous roast beef (and vegetarian Wellington) celebratory lunch for our anniversary. Verity was amazing, thank you so much, that personal touch makes such a difference. Highly recommended 5 *****'s
We had a late lunch here with my friends after our hike in the area. The atmosphere and service was both really nice, no compaint on that. But the food was quite mediocre, the lamb liver and pork round was way overcooked and really dry and the tastes were bland. We were quite dissappointed as the re
Great meal at this lovely country pub. New forest themed menu made me smile. Quality of the food was amazing, and justifies the higher cost. Didnt use the hotel aspect so cant comment on that.
Ate here for dinner and had a great time. the staff were super fast, attentive and friendly, with great senses of humour as well, making the whole experience very joyful and full of life. The food was delicious, if such a word can do it justice. Would love to eat here again.
A great visit here on a Friday lunchtime. We booked a table for 4 online and were quickly seated on a nice large table in the conservatory behind the main pub area. It was cosy with just 4 or 5 other tables. We had main courses, all of which we would recommend - the chicken pie, steak and ale pie, b
