Great menu and the food was just as excellent! We loved the healthy menu and the fact they were so good with gluten free food was perfect for a coeliac. Friendly staff right from the start. Can’t recommend this place enough for a lovely afternoon snack. We will be back!

We had breakfast here when we were touring the area. Clean, beautiful garden, and the plates are fresh and delicious. The portions are good. I might say it's a bit expensive. And the waitstaff could be a bit more professional.

Great breakfast - served quickly and hot. The coffee is also good, tastes like coffee and not just hot milk! I had the avocado smash which had a good portion size, especially the halloumi 😍

Excellent breakfast/brunch time spent here with a friend. Large restaurant with lots of seating options, we sat in the sunny courtyard. The place was very inviting (even on a busy Saturday) and we were happily greeted by staff on entering. Service was very very prompt and the staff were pleasant. Everything arrived quickly and was so so tasty. I very much recommend the eggs Benedict with spinach and avocado! I will sure we back and happy to bring other friends and family here as there are so many food options. All the dishes I saw come out the kitchen looked lovely.

There for a family pre-wedding get together, and they had a lot to do in a few hours one evening. All good, especially the pizzas fresh from the oven. One tip for the owner: to keep the bottles of ale out of the fridge, as it tastes better at room temperature unlike largers.

I can’t fault The Forage, the food is excellent value, always delicious and tasty too! Staff maintain just the right level of attentiveness, not overbearing but on hand to fulfil any requests! I had the Caesar Salad this time - best I’ve ever had 😋 Surroundings are fabulous too!

I come here quite often and food is always consistently good and staff are soo friendly. I had this today (photo attached) and it was beautiful, seasoned so well and great amount. I also got a peppermint tea and there was enough for several cups. I definitely want to come later one day as they have pasta also! There are plenty of places to eat in Lyndhurst but I tend to go to The Forage the most due to their great menu for vegetarians.

Lovely family brunch at Forage on Saturday. The front of house (owner?) was so incredibly welcoming and lovely with our four year old. We felt right at home straight away. Food was yummy and service was speedy despite the restaurant being full. Highly recommend for a friendly and yummy stop off.

Convenient spot to stop for a quick breakfast whilst i was Bikepacking around New Forest. Reasonably priced and they were happy to serve me as the only customer sat outside (they were VERY busy inside), as I had my bike with me.

A nice salad & pizza in the restaurant garden at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff who provided a takeaway box for the left over pizza! Only Peroni or Budweiser beers available would be nice to see a Moretti or an alternative to Bud available.

We visited the Forage for brunch, and we were pleased to see that their menu had plenty of options and their service was quick. We enjoyed our food, and the milkshakes were tasty. The coffee could have been a bit better, but they serve dairy alternatives (soya and oat). Prices were reasonable.

A very well managed place with lots of choices on the menu. I think the concept of this eatery is just right, it creates a relaxed feel. The food is pretty good and so is the coffee compared to some other places down the road. Overall a very good experience to be repeated.

Fantastic menu with lots of choice but the food was freshly made, no microwaved meals here. The staff were very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble! Great options for veggies (2 of us) and the portions were decent and value for money. The decor and atmosphere was very pleasant and the toilets were spotless! There was 7 of us having a late lunch and we will definitely return!
