Fantastic Quaint Cafe, been here a few times when in the area. Staff friendly and attentive, delicious food and great tasting coffee. I had brie and mushrooms on toast 👌 my husband had a mixed cheese panini 👌would definately recommend a visit. Be sure to be quiet though, do not disturb the fairy that lives in the tree behind the door 🧚‍♂️

Excellent time here. My family ordered two build-your-own waffles, one build-your-own pancake and a plate of baked potatoes, and they all came out so appetising and tasty. Would definitely come here again.

Good value decent food. Lovely terrace outside with Alice in wonderland themed decorations which keep the children entertained. Lots of choice of pancake toppings! Also did vegan pancakes which was good for one of our group with egg allergies.

The famous Mad Hatter tea rooms is based on the Alice in Wonderland theme. I had to visit as I had last been here with my parents and grandparents as a kid. The sandwich I had was fresh and tasty. It was just a trip down memory lane for personal reasons. It’s a compact place and great for bringing young kids. Good service and friendly. Clean and easy parking nearby.

We had a variety of food for lunch including a prosecco high tea. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone. The roof terrace is done up very well and on a scorching hot day it was lovely to sit and eat up there. The only disappoint across the entire meal was the jam for the scones was not very nice, it was very thick and gelatinous. However the rest of the food was delicious and all the kids loved their good sized portions. Milkshakes and cakes were definitely the winners though.

Conveniently located, parking very close by. Amazing food, cute intimate space which is so well set up in keeping with the Alice in Wonderland theme, starting with the entire decor to the sales of AiW memorabilia. Staff are courteous.

A beautiful small tea room with an Alice in Wonderland theme. We had a bacon and brie Panini with a pot of tea and a home made scone with cream and jam to finish. The food was fantastic and the scone was the best I've ever tasted. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend visiting this lovely tea room if you're in town. Pros: beautiful home made scones, nicely decorated and themed tearoom, friendly staff. Cons: it's only a small tearoom so not a huge amount of seating inside.

We dropped in for a bite to eat last Saturday when Lyndhurst was basked in a Mid-July downpour. Loved the qwerky look of the place and the interior theming was nice and not overdone. Sadly the characterful roof terrace wasn't really tempting in the rain but looked like it would be a nice spot on a sunny day. The staff were fantastic and seated sven of us no issue and no booking. The food was to a good standard and the portion sizes were fair. All in all a top little find for a spot of lunch when in the Forest's Capitol 🔝👍

Very tasty and pleasant meal! Every dish we ordered was wonderful (especially the dirty fries!!). The lemon cheesecake and honeycomb cheese cake is by far the best I’ve ever had! It’s definitely worth walking a little further up the high street.
