Coffe Barn

Have been dissapointed coming here in the past but that was a few years ago and A Bite in Time was closed. Saw new faces so decided to give it another go. At first, the gentleman was really friendly while ordering and the atmosphere is nice. However, the food that came out didn't match what was written in the menu. As my daughters food had already arrived and there would be a wait to remake my order, I decided to cancel it and was offered a refund. Until the "chef" (who was on her phone at the same time as she was preparing the dishes mind you) disagreed with my complaint. then the asian gentleman (manager?) started raising his voice at me in front of other patrons and threatened not to process the refund when I told him the chef needs to learn the menu. I would strongly recommend you stay away from this place if you don't want to be abused for expecting to get what you pay for.. My daughters meal was average and the coffe was so bitter I had to use 3 sweeteners when I usually only use 1. Better off going across the road to A Bite In Time where the sevice and food is exceptional. Or better yet, eat at home and don't waste your money here. . My 9 year old can cook better food.

I've come back here many times now over the past few years. Staff are very friendly. Meals are a decent size, reasonably priced, and taste good. I really like all the mains, particularly the Sri Lankan curry. (Mains are generally $15 - $17) Coffee here is good, similar to other places. Also live music on Saturdays. Will definitely be coming back.
