Stumbled across this little gem while on a day trip to sunny Mablethorpe. Browsed the menu and we both opted for the ploughman's. The young lady then asked what flavour of crisps we wanted. Meal arrived and wow, lovely plate full. Pork pie, deli ham, extensive salad, cheese, grapes, celery, coleslaw, pickles, bread and butter and a bowl full of crisps. Don’t miss The Hungry Seahorse, Freshly cooked food (so be patient) that was perfectly cooked by someone who obviously knew what they were doing. Friendly polite young staff that were a credit to the Seahorse.

We were on one of our regular weekend visits from Bristol and were keen to have something to eat before the long journey back.
We had just walked our dogs on the beach, so we sat outside with them and had egg and bacon rolls with tea for two and - my word - did it ever hit the spot! The waitress was smiley and charming and the whole experience made me wonder why we ever left East Lincs 30 years ago!
Value for money was great too - especially compared to where we live!
We look forward to visiting again.

Absolutely love this place. We come here everytime we stop in Mablethorpe as we love the small breakfast. We have also had the Liver and onions special and really enjoyed that too. Lovely friendly staff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. A+++++
