Went on a Saturday afternoon with 10 people for a nice family meal at 5pm. Service was amazing with loads of staff on in a very busy, large pub. Great atmosphere with a mix of eaters and drinkers. Lovely decor and modern pub vibe. Food was good with a large menu selection. Portions also a good size. I would say the flower pot is at the higher end of pub food in terms of cost and most of my party were very happy with their meal but some of my table were "so so" therefore only 4 stars for food. Kids meals were good and one young waitress got my toddler daughter some warm milk!! Amazing. Good car parking and left mine overnight. Really good beer also and thr manager also introduced himself, he was really professional and sought honest feedback. Recommended. Good proper pub.
Went for lunch with a friend today and had the steak and ale pie. Food was delicious and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Great choice for all food tastes too
Easy parking. Very nice inside. Staff pleasant. The food (cheese and onion pie, hunters chicken) was good but I’ve had better chips at these family-orientated places. Would certainly go again though, perhaps have mash instead.
Seven of us had a meal together. We all had different meals and yet everybody enjoyed their food. We have booked again for our next meeting! The staff were friendly and helpful.
I had a wake her. The food was okay standard buffet food. The staff friendly and pretty quick bringing the food out when I asked for it. I had quite a few problems with trying to pay the deposit I had to come in to pay couldn’t pay over the phone and then confusion on the day with the bill. I don’t think it was cheap considering the food was just a bog standard buffet @ over £10 a head but it was fresh and well presented and and the staff friendly.
Came in on a Sunday with a very large party for my sons 1st birthday. We caused a lot of hassle to the staff with forgetting to order & numbers etc. an email was missed by head office about some pre ordered meals. The staff handled it perfectly, so friendly and very welcoming. Nothing was a hassle. Can not state enough how enjoyable the day was & can not praise the staff enough. Will be be back again. Highly recommend this pub for food or drinks.
Food and drink was excellent and the waiters/waitresses were very nice. One thing i think they could improve is adding table numbers. After we had finished our meal a waiter walked to our table with food in hand and asked if we had ordered it, we said that we did not order the food, so he left the table and proceed to go to multiple different tables asking if they had ordered the food. Eventually they found the table. I think this could have been avoided with a simple table number system.
Lovely pub with a great selection of drinks. Menu is absolutely lovely and great options for vegetarians. Would definitely visit again
Me and my partner came for our anniversary meal, the food was lovely, the pub is very clean! All the staff are friendly and welcoming but need to give a special mention to Beth, who was bubbly and chatty (but not encroaching) and made us feel like we were her only table/customers for the night, very attentive and reactive to his requests 🙄. Highly recommend a visit if you are in Macclesfield, a credit to the town as much as Beth is to this pub, what a star, keep up the good work!

Spent a lovely Sunday afternoon over a long lunch with family. We were served by a very attentive waitress called Georgia, who made the experience even more special. Definitely going back.
Visit at least once a month, food is of a high standard and plenty of it. Fish and chip Tuesday amazing value. Staff especially Natasha are very welcoming and friendly.

It was Sunday so I went for the roast chicken (served on a bone) decent sized portion, the mash was very smooth, gravy was a highlight.
My littlin had the fish goujons, they were an appropriate portion but too many fries.
The bill was a bit more than I expected but everything is going up at the moment I guess 💰
Lovely food at very reasonable prices. Good beer too and the staff are always friendly and helpful. There’s a great outdoor area for the warmer months, it is heated so can be enjoyed during the winter too if you want.
The toilets are always very clean.
Had a lovely lunch yesterday with my friend. We both had the Greek salad 🥗. Was very tasty and fresh. The new menu us great.

I had the Sunday carvery which was good. I went for the new potatoes rather than the roast potatoes as they looked at bit dry. The cauliflower sauce and gravy is tasty. Beef was good, not chewy.
The building is large and caters for all occasions. There is a games room at the left side with a good pool table. Prices are reasonable. Selection of beers not the most exciting. Lots of parking available.
