Myself and my fiancé went here for a lovely dinner last night, we dine out in Indian restaurants a lot in Belfast and came up to magherafelt for a visit. Lovely decor and ambience in the restaurant. Staff were pleasant and attentive. The food was absolutely superb. I ordered the chicken tikka masala

The Taaj is a must eat at restaurant. The decor and art is lovely and the food is great. The staff are friendly and when you enter you can already smell the spices. The atmosphere is fantastic but the seats are not the most comfortable but its not going to affect my rating.
Food absolutely delicious, staff went over and above to make my birthday special, highly recommend, we'll worth a visit, we will be back soon. 😀
I've never had a bad meal from the Taaj, beautiful authentic Indian food, staff are always fast and efficient and friendly. I'm not a big drinker but a lot of friends love their cocktails too

Had a delicious meal here at the weekend! Great selection of drinks and cocktails, large selection of dishes! Highly recommend as a regular, butter chicken is a must try!!

brilliant, i have a loss for words. absolutely brilliant, after being bullied by the tesco owner, two schools and a rabid child, its a great place to sit back and have a good meal.

I had never been in an Indian restaurant before BUT this restaurant has changed my mind completely! Awesome food, great service, lovely decor. The restaurant has won awards for world cuisine and it is fully justified! I can't recommend this place highly enough.
Lovely food and efficient service. The restaurant was very relaxed and not overcrowded. The servers were knowledgeable and very helpful too.

I eat out of the Taaj quite alot, and I have to say, I have yet to get a bad meal.

Food is really good, chicken tikka for starter was delicious, butter chicken a bit too sweet for me. Very busy/crowded, especially in these corona times (probably because of the 50% off scheme, but still). Would have loved to order from the full menu instead of the smaller version they currently use
I had fantastic time withy family here. Loved the cozy environment and newly introduced chicken Amritsari, it's amazing and no words for the mouthwatering chicken and Monkfish shashlik... Thanks TAAJ management and staff... See you soon..
