Had a great couple of nights here. Comfortable accommodation. Good food and great selection of beers and ciders. Especially liked the "Black Rat cider"
If you're looking for a traditional English village pub, then this is the place. Our hosts, the staff and the locals were all very friendly with nothing being too much trouble. The rooms are generous with big comfortable beds and pillows. A great evening was had in the bar playing pool, listening to
Me and my 2 kids just got back from a overnight stay at somerset arms, our room was nice and big and very comfy beds. The family run b&b was made to feel welcome and the couple were so helpful and trustworthy we felt right at home! Was a better experience than the safari which for the money was not
Very good value for money, comfortable bed and good room/en suite. I enjoyed a very happy and comfortable overnight stay with friendly Locals in the bar and very helpful and friendly staff and management. The evening meal provided a good choice and I had steak which was cooked to just how I like
A out of the way pub/hotel. Perfect and welcoming staff members and locals. Had a couple of drinks with the locals, very enjoyable. Our room was spotless just a shame there was no service on our phones. We had to drive up the road about 5 minutes to find an area that had service so we could make
Thank you Alan and Annette. Lovely comfy rooms, delicious breakfast and great hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, they even kindly gave us a new tube of toothpaste to save us going out in the driving rain to buy some. If your in the area pop in for a pint in this lovely old pub.
Really friendly and lovely atmosphere. They had the most adorable Labradors which was lovely to see. Our room did lack in a proper dressing table and chair however there are rooms available that do have these just wasn't one in ours. Shower wasn't the easiest of things to navigate and did fill up in
This is a fantastic pub and we're lucky to have it as our local. We had a family meal last night and it was excellent. Delicious fish and chips and steaks. Great atmosphere and friendly people! Highly recommend.
Lovely country pub, modern comfortable bedroom( we stayed in double with a shower and room for a cot) and great food! Friendly staff who worked very hard and were lovely with our toddler. The pub/ bnb is very close to Longleat safari (10 minute drive) will look at returning next year!
We were away for the weekend and voted the Somerset Arms Friday evening and again Saturday evening. We had a meal Saturday which was freshly cooked and very enjoyable. The landlord was friendly and made us feel welcomed. I would recommend a visit.
