We’d been chomping at the bit for a Chinese and didn’t really know any local takeaways but recall coming here about 5/6 years ago.
A massive order was placed with our eyes as big as our growling bellies, also accommodated a dish not on the menu. Well what can I say the food was plentiful,, hot, cooked to perfection and delicious!! Would highly recommend!
Great takeaway worth a visit. I went for House Special Chow Mein, Fried Vermicelli Singapore Style, Beef Ho Fan and Ma Po Tofu, those are delicious! Keep the good work!

I would highly recommend! I've picked up takeaway from here 3 times now and everything is great. Always hot and always tasty.
This was our first time ordering from Hanwah and we will definitely be ordering from here again. Food was delicious, arrived hot and very well priced. Lady I spoke to on the phone was very polite and friendly and the delivery was super quick. Good to know we have a new local favourite!
Really tasty neighbourhood Chinese takeaway!
One of the best local Chinese food places you’ll find, family run, friendly owner and quick service. Food is tasty, highly recommend the sweet and sour chicken balls and the roast duck. The only thing is that portion sizes could be bigger, make sure to add at least one side to any main or even an extra dish.

Especially Thai style red curry, it's taste good. Staff and boss are very nice, they are very concerned the food is good or not. Because I don’t eat bamboo shooter, so I tell them to take it out when I place my order. They are very welcome to do it. We will back very often! Thank you for making me feel like home taste.

Just about the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had. I particularly liked the sweet and sour king prawn balls. Good presentation, good portion size, and great service.
Thought we would give Hanwah a try as a menu dropped through our door. Not been there since Steve left. Really impressed, good quality food, very tasty and generous portions. Loved it all.

best thai green curry i are in a long time, trying to get something different every time, haven't been disappointed a single time. this place gets their order ready on time no matter how big. really pleased with the service. if my wife would let me eat as much as i want id probably burst
Unfortunately the results from Hanwah seem to have become rather variable, which is why I have knocked a star off my previously rave review. The first disappointment was a lunchtime meal with notably reduced quality overall. The second was a bank holiday weekend, when previously reliable lemon chicken was ruined by a sauce so bitter that it might have been just lemon juice and nothing else, and not for the first time the egg fried rice, instead of being white and fluffy, was dingy brown and gloopy. Time of day or busy periods (though it actually didn't seem that busy) should not make such a huge difference.
I am Working away form home in Maidenhead, looking for decent take away for months and finally i found this Chinese takeaway. Lovely food,nicely cooked, friendly staff. what can I expect more than that. Simply awesome definitely going back again. Love it.
Was my favorite place since moved to UK 13 years ago. I took one star off because quality of food gone down a bit and doesn't taste as good. I will definitely go back again
