Had a lovely lunch today with my mates. Pub was really easy to find and nice and snug amongst all the country woods. The pub itself is a bit old fashioned both outside and inside and the lighting was quite dark and gloomy inside but otherwise was fine, made for a cosy meal.

This was our first time at this quaint little pub, first impressions where good, staff are friendly and attentive, we went for lunch , and had the steak and ale homemade pie and cod and chips, both where exceptional. Had a very lovely evening at The Yew Tree recently. There were four of us and we each had a 3 course meal. We each chose something different from the menu but were equally very happy with our choices. The food and service were excellent and we will certainly be visiting again soon.
No reservation, sat in bar area.. Absolutely lovely atmosphere and fantastic food!

I gave it 3 stars for atmosphere as it was relatively empty and playing golden oldies, but I was in there on a Wednesday night. Its perfect for a family dining experience especially if you are taking the older folks. However it's close
