Lovely lunch with friends. Only had baguette, but tasty and reasonably priced all the same. Nice welcoming pub and restaurant with a cosy log fire. Large outdoor space. Would definitely go back for an evening meal. Not a massive parking area so could be problems parking on a busy day as located on a
This place is great for lunch the food is always cooked well and there is a good variety on the menu and well priced. We had the burger and the chicken sizzler with noodles. Really tasty, will be going back again. We did book as it does get busy especially at the weekends, during the summer they ha
Obviously a very popular venue. It was our first visit and what an excellent choice. The staff were both friendly and efficient. Our meal arrived promptly and was beautifully presented. We both chose a Sunday roast - lamb with freshly cooked roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and lashings of fresh ve
Such a brilliant pub. Super food, excellent service - no matter how busy they are, nothing is too much trouble. Can thoroughly recommend.
Parking on arrival was appropriate to Park our larger disabled vehicle. A disabled access ramp is available for wheelchair friendly access. The whole garden is wheelchair friendly which is always a welcome bonus. There is a children's play area in the corner so you can still enjoy a cold refreshing
It's always a pleasure to drink & eat here. Food never disappoints. Whitebait delicious starter, prawn or steak sizzler hot plate a favourite. Great fish & and chips, too. Friendly staff. Would recommend πŸ‘Œ Car park often fills up quickly
Came here for fathers day meal. The food and portion size was really good, and the staff were lovely. Only drop in stars is I would like to see better food for younger children perhaps. Although the play area is good for them.
We had a large family get together there. They did a very good buffet and everyone really enjoyed themselves. The staff were excellent. Certainly a place to visit and there main meals are very good too.
It’s surprising how good pub food can be. The RedStart exemplifies this. Walk inside and it looks like a standard looking sociable drinking space. Sit down, look at the specials board, you begin to realise there is something special about this place. Yes it does prepare the traditional British dishe
I was visiting my brother and niece and we sat out in the garden the food was lovely and it was serves with a smile I don't know how much the meal was as my brother paid for it
Pleasant servers and decent food which was reasonably priced. Nice punt of Harvey's best. A very quiet Monday lunch so atmosphere was lacking but am sure it would be better with more people around.
Lovely pub food really nice. Only marked atmosphere 3star as we were early so not many in there
Had a great meal here and the staff were really nice
It's my local pub, I love it. The best staff ever
Great service, great food. All in all, a pleasurable evening meal.
Great local pub with tasty food. Ideal for couples, families and dog friendly. Plenty of outside seating space including a children's play area.
Good food, lively atmosphere. Friendly staff and overall good value. Managed to keep the pub vibe along with the dining experience. Highly recommend.
Lovely walk to The Redstart for Sunday lunch. Based on reviews it was worth going along for the first time. Food was very good. We had the traditional roast beef & roast pork. Cooked very well and you would expect. Staff polite and a pleasant atmosphere. Would recommend. 4/5.
Very good service and the food is excellent quality πŸ‘Œ
