3 of us were on a 2 week course nearby and we heard good things about The Wheatsheaf so we thought it would be rude not to investigate for ourselves. The pub is clearly a locals pub but with a friendly welcoming atmosphere, they have a good selection of drinks and a comprehensive menu. I personally
I went their for a meal and ended up staying for the pub quiz. Was a great night out in a lovely local pub which also has very friendly staff. The food was excellent and portion size was good to. They also have a lovely big tv for sports as well so will be going their for the World Cup in the summer

Nice pub very friendly bar staff. Meal wise could do with revamping. Every meal with chunky chips. Still had a very pleasant evening.
Very enjoyable evening it is my local pub so have been there many times before good staff very helpful will go again on new year's eve to watch Sky Football.
