The Good Intent - Maidstone - Photo album

I've been here on a number of occasions, reason? The food is bang on and the staff are very friendly. It's dog friendly and children have access to a safe playing area. It's a must visit. I certainly will again. Our food had already started in pics. A must eat.
Friendly local. Good sandwiches etc and more substantial food for lunch. Really glad we visited - would recommend if you are looking for a good 'old fashioned' local vibe.
What a lovely and really friendly proper pub. Staff and locals so hospitable. The food is priced sensibly and the quality of the food is excellent, had the dressed crab and Duck Breast to share, it was fantastic.! will certainly be back. Thank you very much.
Really enjoyed the dressed crab. The photos here don't do it justice.
Steve and Pauline are ACE landlords. Free beer on the 30th of February every year
It's a GREAT 👍 pub and friendly staff
Really friendly pub in a lovely quiet location. Would recommend to couples or families as there is a park beside the pub for little ones on the village green.
Great staff who are really attentive and friendly , excellent, well-priced food with great Sunday roasts with a 3 courses for under £15 (when we went on 28/08/17)and a great setting with spectacular views. Children's play area which is part of the village green. Highly recommended. We go there out
Always great; the service, atmosphere and the experience of a real pub! Decent cider, beer, ale, beer mats, newspapers, good talk and bar staff that know what you're drinking as soon as you walk in. Start going...
Visited today. Beautiful, clean pub with lovely, friendly staff. The building itself has been around since 1740. Really good food and lovely atmosphere. If you're in the area do check it out!
Lovely pub, great staff and fabulous roast and crumble
Warm hospitable welcome, reasonable prices and lovely food. Recommend the garlic prawns and chunky chips. Dining room fresh and clean. Will definitely go back there.
Lovely country pub , great location and excellent service. This place is like travelling back 30 yrs. Very old fashioned 70s / 80s decor . Makes it an interesting surprise when you enter . Food here was lovely . I will pop in again the next time I am walking by .
We happened along this friendly local pub whilst hiking. It's next to a great playground, so kids can play whilst you enjoy a pint. Good social distancing measures in place.
This was the first time we have been to this pub l have driven past many times and decided to stop for sunday lunch. The roasts were very good, generous portions, the beef was delicious, all at a good price, very friendly staff a lovely local pub, which is hard to find these days. Will definately be
Very welcoming. Great location. Good beer and delicious food. Traditional Kentish hospitality at its best.
