Popped into the druids after a bit of retail therapy with my stepdaughter. Opted for some lunch and a couple of drinks. I want to say the staff here are amazing! Both Ron and Katie looked after us fantastically. Food was gorgeous, I had the chicken burger, and my 13 year old had the mixed small plates. Oh and nachos to start π lots of food, great value, fantastic service! Will be back very soon ππππ
Stumbled across this pub on an unplanned stop off in Maidstone at lunch time today. What lovely, dog friendly place. We received a very warm welcome and great refreshments shame we donβt live close by!!!
Owner was attentive and friendly. Able to find a seat which was brilliantly socially distanced. Food orders are now made at the bar. Kitchen floor was being repaired so it wasn't sure what time the kitchen would be open. We opted to stay and it wasn't too long for us to wait. We were given updates. Food was tasty. Only complaint was the food could have been served hotter...
Really friendly staff, excellent food recommendations and told us to come back for the weekend for the live music. Will definitely be returning! Great find
Access was good with my wheelchair & I sat out in the courtyard. I was with my mum and we decided to share fish & chips. The staff were really helpful & polite which helped me relax and enjoy the sunshine. An extra plate was brought with our food & all I can say is that IT WAS THE BEST I'D EVER TASTED!!!!!!! Well worth a visit - not just because of the varied & well priced menu, but they have live music regularly!
Somehow left it 30 years before visiting Druids last night. As it was last time I went, great pub great friendly atmosphere and well served a couple or three lovely pints of ale.! Bad Pandas band playing live absolutely rocked with some great tunes creating a great atmosphere. A real proper pub, music beer everyone having fun and enjoying themselves. Overhead heaters outside are a nice touch. Will be paying a visit again soon for sure we loved it.
We were recommended this pub for lunch when we were visiting Maidstone. Absolutely fabulous salmon and cheddar fish cakes, I would definitely recommend. My husband had the 3 cheese toastie, which he said was delicious but would have been elevated even further by the addition of some onion. Great choice of beer and some very good value wines. Dog friendly too, what a find, thanks
Was really nice, good food, though some was not available they were very helpful in telling us upfront and suggesting alternative, good prices, and im in a wheelchair so there was loads of room with access through courtyard, no accessible toilet as far as we saw(didnt need to ask)but mens was accessible with my walking stick and I can do few steps if i need so it was ok. Ladies are up 2 steps so may be little more difficult to access. Had a great evening.
Very good selection of drinks to suit all.Had a couple of sharer snacks, a Greene King pub, but definitely a cut above. Would not hesitate to recommend a visit π
