Our server was fab from the start. So friendly and helpful couldn't have asked or wished for a better waitress. Thanks again for the gorgeous food and making my daughter's 11th birthday a truly memorable one.

We ordered the steak sirloin and the ribs and they were reasonably priced especially considering that the ribs was a full rack. I was surprised on how delicious and tender steak was since it was excellently cooked without any sauces. Plus the accompanying sauces made it taste even better. For a restaurant attached to a hotel that we were staying, we weren't expecting anything but the food was quite good and we would come back or try another Beefeater location. Our server Leane was very friendly and we had a good conversation that was genuine.

We stayed at the Premier Inn next door and so it was convenient to have breakfast at the Beefeater. There's an adjoining door from the Premier Inn reception/lobby into the bar and then the eating area at the Beefeater. The ambience was great and warm the both mornings we were there. I loved the decor and think the staff were pleasant. We had the £9.50 unlimited cooked breakfast, with continental buffet on both mornings. There was a varied collection of cereals, fruits and yoghurt to pick from. The kids liked it.

Carole was out fantastic host today. The best roast we’ve had in years! We had the share roast platter. The roast potatoes were unbelievable and crispy and melted in your mouth. Chicken like Nandos and lovely sliders of beef. Lovely stuffing and pig in blanket plus we ordered the best cauliflower cheese I’ve ever had! The gravy was also fantastic and you can ask for more gravy and roast potatoes!! Cheese cake dessert was very nice. Will be coming back for a roast again and again!!!

Manager very friendly upon arrivals asked if I had any allergies. Then our server got our drinks promptly and told us about items they didn’t have. She then took our order and my food came out quickly. It was very well presented and hot. My steak was cooked perfectly and was hot! A very good portion of fries. We then got a refill on our drinks as soon as they were almost empty without asking! Will Definitely be returning.

I've been to this venue several times over the last few months and my experience definitely varies depending on the time of day. While the staff are all well mannered, some with excellent senses of humour, service can be slow and you risk feeling slightly forgotten in the busiest periods. The food is reasonable quality for the price tag, though the chicken wing starter is a little paltry (excuse the pun). The steaks are usually a pretty good way to go and reasonably priced. Unusually the rump steak seems to fare better on the grill than the sirloin.

My first impression of this place was handy as staying next door but when we entered to get a drink no staff acknowledged us even though standing there for a while so eventually we left. However, we went for breakfast and service was a little slow but order taken and advised where things were which I found the choices brilliant and enjoyed it all.

Came here a tried the 2 courses for £10 and was pleasantly surprised after going to another beefeater and having a bad experience. Restaurant was extremely clean both inside and out, friendly staff and our oder came out quickly. Tasty, sizzling hot food for a good price! I will definitely be returning.

A top breakfast here at the weekend. Probably the best I've had from Beefeater and goodness knows I've had some in my time. The food was served quickly, it was piping hot and great quality. Lots of continental offerings too and kids eat free which is a brucey bonus.

Sorry I have had to remove 1 star. Have eaten in here for years and have generally always been very happy with the food and service. Had a meal this evening which was fine and staff were very nice but when I arose from my seat, I was very surprised to see what I had been sitting on(please see attached photo). The staff here all work extremely hard, a bit of head office management support /training along with building TLC would not go a miss. Please be aware Beefeater have had some unbeatable deals over the summer months as an example any two main meals for £12, yes that's correct. Update 27/09/2022 Please see last photograph for new house white wine very fruity and quite pleasant. Had a great meal (probably one of the best we have had in the Sir Thomas Wyatt , hopefully if we get a similar experience I will increase the star rating.
