My grandmother and I thoroughly enjoyed the tasting menu. Exceptional food.
We requested a table that was easy to access with good lighting for my grandmother and were given the perfect table for this. Robyn (who served us) was brilliant too. We plan to return!
Celebrating our wedding anniversary we went to Bowleys at the plough to experience their vegan taster menu. Wow! The food was stunning (and I'm not even vegan!), the wine pairings extremely complimentary to the food and the staff were amazing. A lovely atmosphere the attentive staff made us feel welcomed and we're extremely engaging. Our waitresses were fantastic and the sommelier was knowledgeable and generous.. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone..

Fantastic food with excellent personal service. Second visit and we were remembered even though it had been a few months. Every mouthful was exquisite. Not the cheapest place to go but worth every penny, it certainly won't be the last visit!

Exquisite! It's the only way to describe this restaurant. The staff are friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable regarding everything on the menu. The food is pretty amazing, no matter which day you go or what you choose. I first visited in December 2021 for a team Xmas dinner and just had to go back ... and back and back. After several visits this year, I've never failed to be astounded by what I've eaten. Looking forward to many return visits throughout 2023 and beyond.
My wife and I called in today on the off chance for Sunday lunch, the restaurant was fully booked but we were accommodated in the bar area, which was very nice.
The staff were excellent with their service, the food was amazing and full of flavour and I enjoyed learning about the history of The Plough, it's owners and tasting Grandma's chutney.
The only slight negative is my wife's vegetarian roast didn't come with gravy but we should have asked for some sooner.
Top quality food and service that deserves recognition, I am looking forward to visiting again.
Lovely restaurant in an old pub. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Lunch offer between 12 and 14:30 (£30 two course, £35 three course).

A lovely little location. Very intimate with staff who were full of information. We order the tasting menu with wine pairing. Great food, good portion size and lovely presentation.
