Really lovely Italian restaurant in the middle of Maldon. The decor is clean, tasteful and stylish creating a relaxed but refined environment. The food, from the traditional bread and oil, to the main courses, are delightfully presented and are absolutely delicious. Staff are efficient and pleasant and the prices are extremely reasonable for food this excellent (37 pounds for shared bread, two mains and two drinks). Will be back !

Intimo Fresco is a lovely little restaurant situated out in Maldon. We've been looked after really well every time we've visited and I highly recommend the fish dishes! :D

Lovely setting, too many menu's. Mocktails were really good. Calamari very soft no bite to it and the batter should have been more crunchy. I asked for pink lambs liver and it was well done. The rest of the dish was tasty.

A catch up with the girls last night at Intimo was a great choice. The restaurant has a lovely ambience, friendly, but professional & polite. Staff & service were excellent & the food was delicious. So much choice! We all enjoyed our meals, but unfortunately just couldn't manage a dessert đ˘. Would definitely recommend & look forward to returning soon. Thank you! âď¸âď¸âď¸

Had a lovely 2 course Italian meal and glass of fizz. On the evening we went two new members of staff were on their first 'shift' so service was slightly slow with manager mentoring them. All staff were smartly dressed and 'smiley'. With the separate rooms you can enjoy a romantic setting so good for couples and small parties. The menu wasn't all Italian dishes so caters for a variety of tastes. An enjoyable experience.

We have just had a lonely family meal at Intimo. A very good level of service, clean, wide range of foods, and all at a fair price. Parking just over the road from the restaurant.
Our food was cooked perfectly and very well presented, the fillet steaks were spot on!
We will come back again, thank you to everyone at Intimo.

Wonderful place! Great Italian restaurant on Maldon High Street. Opposite a large car park so easy to get to. Restaurant is divided into several differently themed rooms of varying size allowing for intimate dining and ideal for parties of all sizes. Good variation in Italian food on the menu, (which was very good), catering for all tastes and the staff were lovely. Really nice clean, toilets too!

Our first visit here and we were very impressed. We were there with a voucher so did not have the full menu to choose from but the choice on the reduced menu was still excellent. Absolutely could not fault the food and the salted caramel panacotta was heavenly. I canât speak highly enough about this restaurant and almost best of all was that it was calm and quiet - nobody shouting at the tops of their voices!

Food was lovely and service was efficient, some staff friendlier than others. The decor and surroundings were comfortable. However we had a table for two in a room where there were tables of 4 and 6 in close proximity. The noise levels from everyone talking was very loud and uncomfortable, and therefore difficult to relax and enjoy the meal. There were other rooms with tables for two which would have been better. A real shame for our first visit.

Great evening last night, 16 friends celebrating, love the new menu, particularly the new addition of cocktails. The homemade focaccia, one Sun-dried tomatoes, and the other Olives were a delight. Loved the spicy prawn starter, followed by fish linguine! The Toblerone cocktail - very moorish, great after-dinner drink. The mini desserts were melt in the mouth, and just the right size. The new owners, Kirti and Shalab, were so welcoming they couldn't do enough for us, the waitresses were informative, helpful, service with a smile; we were fortunate to meet the Chef and his assistants and thanked them for a wonderful meal. We will definitely return, very soon!

Well I am sooooooo grateful to all the staff at Intimo for ALL their efforts in making my husband's surprise 40th birthday a success. The service and food was impeccable and we could not have asked for more. Would deffinately recommend this restaurant, as a large group they gave us the back room which went out a courtyard area and when it was time for cake they supplied 'baloons and special candles' very personal touch x thankyou very much x

The worst meal I have ever had! My food was so revolting and tasted off to me , I actually nearly threw up at the table. To make matters worse we had to wait over 35minutes for our drinks and one of the other mains was wrong!
I Politely sent back the retch making meal and it was replaced for a quick and easy pizza as we had been in the restaurant for over 2 hrs at this stage. I paid the bill in full, but after contemplating why on earth I paid for it all including the replacement pizza and the incorrect dish, I phoned the restaurant this morning and all they can say is 'we thought the food was fine and you can have a free bottle of house wine next time' --- like there will be a next time! Such a shame!

Always first on our list of restaurants to visit in Maldon. Have been going there regularly to eat for 5 years now and the quality of the food and service is always first class. This time the food had been pepped up to give the dishes a lovely spicey piquancy. Fantastic! The flavours were even better than usual!
Julianna is a fantastic host and friend and we love going there for a good meal, a glass of wine and a good catch-up. Highly recommended!
