Ten of us ate at The Harbour View today and I had sweet potato & leek vegan pie, new pots, fresh veg. It was delicious. I know vegan pastry is tricky but this was perfect. We all enjoyed our meals. Good selection on menu, staff great. Perfection.

We come here like every other weekend. I usually have the eggs Benedict, and my partner has a full English. The foods good quality, yummy! And the staff are great, very accommodating and we have a laugh with them. We’ve also been for dinner and had the ribs for starter, chicken burgers, chips and coleslaw for main (amazing) and I couldn’t fit desert it but they look delicious. A yummy meal with a beautiful view of the harbour and great service.

We had walked past here when we came to Tollesbury last year, and made a point of coming for lunch today when we visited again. Neither my husband nor I can fault the food or the service. From the moment we arrived to when we left, the staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly. The service was excellent, the delicious scampi and chips was served nice and hot and our desserts were very good too. A really nice touch was the mints that came with the coffee being cold from the fridge. Ideal in this hot weather- although it was a bit different today! We will definitely be back. PS My husband has a blue badge and there was parking nearby and a ramp for wheelchairs Remember to register your car on arrival.

Lovely spot right on the Marina. We ate outside so had to order at the bar, although there is table service if you eat inside. Large portions of food although tea for two was in the tiniest teapot. Would suggest you order a pot each. Good value, friendly staff.

I went to the Harbour View for a Saturday lunch with my husband yesterday and we had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, with the restaurant overlooking Tollesbury Marina and with huge windows offering gorgeous views of the harbour. The menu includes amongst other things a variety of freshly prepared fish and seafood. My husband went for the battered cod and chips, I went for the moules marinieres. The portions were very generous and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The mussels had been well prepared and were cooked to perfection, and the creamy sauce that came with it was so tasty and delicious. Honestly the best pot of mussels I've had in the area. All reasonably priced and the service was couldn't be faulted on any level thanks to the attentive staff.
All in all, an experience I am already looking forward to repeating very soon.
We enjoyed fabulous food today, as always, and the two waitresses were lovely and friendly, they also opened the gate so our uncle, who is on crutches, could access the restaurant easily 😍

Just been here for evening meal, food was excellent, steak was perfectly cooked. Service was great and staff very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

It was delicious, been a long time since I went out to eat and the service was great. Food was given promptly, the waiters were very attentive and it never seemed like there was a disruption during our meal and conversations.

The food was amazing, we were a party of 8 and had a mixture of dishes; some seafood some not. All were delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were friendly and efficient happy to wait while we dithered over the menu. Definitely recommend.

The Harbour View cafe bistro has an elevated view across the harbour and if there is a very high tide it is reached via a single track lane through the ship yard at the rear of the bistro. The food is Essex pub style but the haddock and chips is great, the seafood platter is mundane.

Beautiful place and location. Food was great and people were friendly. Tucked away and peaceful. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the food is a little on the expensive side and I probably waited 20 minutes stood at the bar just to order food when there were only two other people at the bar. Generally very pleased. Worth a visit even if it's a one off.

The staff are very nice, there's more variety of food on offer than there was (very good variety of seafood platters) seating is plentiful with good views of the marina and outdoor seating in the sun. All in all a very good place for large or small groups!
