A lunchtime visit. Extensive menu for light eating. Great coffee. Service was very good and food very tasty. Clean and airy with plenty of room between tables
Had a lovely afternoon tea today,we got a choice of sandwich filler which was perfect as me and my friend like different fillings, lovely warm scone with clotted cream and jam and a choice of a large piece of cake from the counter,the young man that served us was very friendly and polite. Highly recommended.
We went here for lunch today after a walk around Maldon. This was the first time we had visited and will definitely be going back. Food was tasty, staff were friendly and lunch was good value for money.
Got a couple of pieces of take away cake from here earlier. Slices were huge and staff were very friendly. Would definitely visit again.

Walked in and immediately welcomed. Lovely cafe/restaurant. Had delicious eggs Benedict. Big pot of tea. Good value. Sat and did my crossword in peace. Lovely place. I’m definitely going back! There was cake too, but I don’t do cake... 👍🏻👌🏻👍🏻👌🏻
Me and my friend come here whenever we visit Maldon, and as always, the food is superb, the ladies who serve you are so lovely and friendly, and it's so clean in there, would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Many thanks 😊

A day trip with my family to Maldon. It was so refreshing to find this place. They had an excellent variety of hot and cold food and drinks. Prompt and friendly service. It was no effort when I customised my club sandwich order to include boiled egg. Our food arrived in timely fashion and was very reasonably priced. One minor issue was that the flush on the toilet did not function properly when we visited but everything else was spotlessly clean and tidy. The decor was fresh and they have a good corner position on the high street which provides lots of natural light. My sandwich was delicious. I'm informed by my wife and son that the breakfast bagels were equally tasty and my daughter enjoyed her ham sandwich (named on the menu as a "Babe" sandwich - fortunately my daughter hasn't seen the film!!!).
Always enjoy going here. Bright and light with a great selection of lunchtime snacks and an all day breakfast. You will not leave hungry. Then later there are the cream tea and afternoon tea with lots of lovely cake too. Can get a bit busy, but worth the shirt wait. 👍😋
