What a welcome we received here. Clean rooms with heating that you control. Bright and airy and comfy king size beds. Food was exceptional with a great choice of beers, wines and spirits. Staff were out of this world helpful and friendly. What more could you ask for? Well, there was the lovely full English for a starter...
We stopped by for dinner on our way home from an afternoon of swimming. I must say, I was initially hesitant because I hadn't heard anything about the pub, but it's been on our list to try since recently moving to Maldon.
Hugely impressed and so pleased we took a chance. Wonderful food, fresh, home made,thank you chef!! A lovely ambience. Fantastic service from the whole team.
We will be back and will be sure to tell everyone I can about it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The White Horse, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Sunday roast, which transported me back to the comforting flavors of good old-fashioned home cooking.
The roast was nothing short of exceptional. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and succulent, while the accompanying vegetables were fresh and full of flavour.
If you're in search of a Sunday roast that's reminiscent of homemade goodness, I highly recommend The White Horse. It's a pub that truly knows how to deliver a delightful, hearty meal.
We are locals who popped in for lunch. The owners of the White Horse have worked very hard and made great improvements to the pub with a full bar on a Friday lunchtime. Our herb crusted cod and lasagna dishes were excellent, well presented and very tasty. All washed down with a decent pint made for a very good lunchtime experience.
Dog friendly and Great food:I don't usually bother with reviews buti loved this place, the only dog friendly place open for food after 6pm so we tried it out, 5 stars all round. Excellent service from Jamie and Isaac and the food was amazing. They even had free dog treats and bowls of water for the mutt. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back
Amazing! Recently held our wedding reception at The White Horse. The whole team were fantastic! Malcolm (owner) could not have done more for us. The food was exceptional, and plenty of it!
I just wish we lived a little closer, we would be there every weekend!
Lovely hotel... staff very helpful and friendly. Very clean. Breakfast was very nice and served until 11am.
Stayed here 1 night for the Soultasia event in Promenade park.. Was hoping to book again for next year but sadly, the hotel have doubled their price so will have to look elsewhere 😢

Went here for dinner while staying in maldon, it has a very welcoming atmosphere, food was really nice, and the staff was very attentive, making sure everything was OK with the meal. Would definitely recommend this pub for anyone visiting the area.
All I can say is , we had excellent service and the food was delicious, very well cooked and lots of flavour, I had the cod with cheese bread crumbs on top from the specials board, we also had breakfast here the next morning, sadly they were fully booked to stay overnight, staff couldn't do enough for you, so friendly, special thankyou to the white horse as they accommodated our table of 9 to perfection
