Went there for the very first time to celebrate my daughters birthday. The service was really good and the food was really nice and good portion size. The only let down was the service towards the end of the evening as we kept having to flag the waiter/ waitress down to ask for desserts and to pay the bill. It might’ve been because they were busy but it didn’t look very busy in the restaurant as wasn’t full. Would definitely go back again though as the food was nice.

Have been going to Sark since before they moved to the bigger restaurant. The venue is amazing with a friendly buzzing atmosphere and the food is second to none. Highly recommended Sark if you've never been, you won't regret it.

The food was fantastic and a good price. I had the babaganoush and lamb shish kebab. Both tasted great and the portion was just right for an indulgent lunch. 5*

We had a lovely lunch this afternoon with excellent food and great service. The staff were kind and friendly and the portion sizes were great for the price. The chicken that I had was cooked perfectly and I was so impressed with their cocktail list as well - definitely wish it hadn't been a Sunday so I could have had more! Another massive plus for us was that they had Kunafa for dessert - we've been looking for this since we left the Middle East, and it's so nice to know that somewhere close by has it too. It was absolutely delicious! Beautiful venue and great location on the High Street - I recommend going to visit. :)

First visit to Maldon for years, what a busy town and Sark is a gem.
Calamari starter, moussaka and beef shish kebab and a couple drinks. Meals are very large and tasty.

Regularly go here, Sami, Turgo and the whole team are always great! The food is fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is always brilliant and it’s well done inside. Very wide selection of drinks and freshly made cocktails always available. A great place for tasty meal and with perfect service and hospitality always

The ambience, the decor, the music: it's simply stunning. The food in itself was piping hot with generous portions no-one could finish and my lamb sarma beyti was dripping with sauce and cheese. It was so rich and filling and I loved it!! I highly recommend if you're in need of a good quality restaurant around here. Only gripe would be that the soft drinks came half empty which seemed to be a shame.

The General manager Mr Turgo was very nice and welcoming he was always seeing our table and checking we had everything, which made it perfect.

Went for my mums 54th birthday and honestly had an amazing time. The food was great, and the restaurant was beautiful. If you like taking pictures this will be the spot for you, we got some amazing family photos!

Upon arriving we were shown to our table for a lunchtime meal. We were approached quickly to order a drink and supplied with menus. We decided on having something from the lunchtime menu which was a 2 course offer for ÂŁ9.99. We were served our drinks along with Turkish bread with a chilli and garlic dips. My wife started with aubergine and I decided on the vine leaves. Both were presented very nicely and again both were tasty.
The main was an easy choice for me as I had their lamb shank and my wife had the chicken shish. Both were presented very nicely and came with rice and a salad. We declined having deserts due to the fact we had stuffed our stomachs sufficiently enough. Worth and visit in my opinion and I would expect another one to be following soon.

I had the swordfish which was amazing and highly recommended 👌. The mixed grill was also delicious along with everything else. Well worth travelling out of your way for. (Try the swordfish) 🤤

Sorry given it. 4, but the service slipped near the end of the evening and no coffee available.
Up to the end of our main courses service was excellent and attentive 5 star then vanished, didn't help that a table of fellow countrymen sat down near us, they was the centre of attention with sometimes 3 staff at the table.
Food was delicious, be aware the spicy salsa that comes with the bread at the start is hot and spicy.
Had the chicken livers as a starter, probably the best I have had, have had many times as Tapas in Spain.
Had the swordfish, again cooked to perfection, complements to the chef's, great flavor and moist, only downside, would have liked some Mediterranean grilled vegetables with it, not a salad lover. Wife had the moussaka, good size portion and told it was lovely.
Wine we had was by the glass and was superb, right temperature.
Overall nice meal and will return to see if service has improved before recommending to friends.
Seems the no coffee was down to having a singer and elecrics couldn't support both, need to upgrade it before future events.

The starter was amazing, but the meat for the main wasn't great for the price. Couldn't tell if it was a lamb kofta or shish I was eating? If kofta, it was over priced. If shish, it was mushy. Great service though.
