The Terrace Restaurant - Mallaig - Photo album

Bit of a hidden gem in Mallaig, I reckon. I even came here twice for dinner on my travels. The atmosphere is very easy-going and calm. Perfect for me, as opposed to the often crowded and loud restaurants. The fish and chips were nice, not super outstanding, but definitely solid. The pizza, however,
West Highland Hotel is a fantastic place. Very welcoming staff, nice atmosphere and a view like no other!
Two absolutely stunning burgers, superb pizza and the fish and chips were beautiful. All with a stunning view and clean, modern surroundings with friendly, happy service. Definitely one for the returning to list!
Absolutely amazing lunch, great locally sourced sea food of exceptional quality, superbly cooked.
Amazing service and great food! I can't wait to be back again soon! Highly recommend.
Lovely food and lovely staff! Due to our tour, we didn’t have much time, but this was no problem for the restaurant, as they served the food and drinks almost right away. Superb quality and very nice garden!
Well worth it! When you get off the Jacobite train, it is worth walking up to this gem. The service is fast as they
What a view so friendly would go back staff friendly
It was OK, asked for steak to be made medium to well done,i think it mooed at me.

Lovely, warning staff excellent food
Best restaurant in Mallaig, tried a handful of others and wasn't impressed. However this place was great.
Had a lovely lunch here while visiting Mallaig
We took a party of 11, including children, here for lunch, and it was absolutely fantastic. Food was delicious, staff were really friendly and helpful. This was a real treat and I will definitely go back. Highly recommended for a special meal.
Would give 6 stars for location and views
From the Mallaig train we booked and weren't sure on arrival. But food was fantastic, timely and so well presented. Try the Chicken burger with haggis side, or the salmon or the parmesan cod, or fish & chips.
