Can't comment on the rooms as we just had sunday roast. Service waa great, very friendly and coped with all the food questions one of ua had. The roast was wonderful, lovely slow cooked lamb, plenty of roasties, veg and gravy. Will be coming again and try to leave room for pudding next time.

My partner and I both loved it here. The owner is very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect but without being intrusive. The food here is really, really good. So fresh and well cooked. We had a table reserved for us by the fire, so it was cozy. The room itself was perfect for what we needed, not huge but lovely. The bathroom is modern also.

Absolutely Awesome Sunday lunch here today with my mum. The food was beautiful and beef was cooked to perfection with a lovely piping hot gravy and fresh veg. The staff were so friendly and made our visit really lovely. Would definitely recommend visiting.

I stayed here for one night as I was visiting Castle Combe race track next day. The pub is a lovely traditional establishment. I had a lovely meal served nice and hot and it was plentiful. The staff and landlady are all lovely and also the locals are very welcoming. I stayed in a single room which was well appointed and had everything I needed. I had a very peaceful sleep and the shower in the morning was nice and powerful. All in all, an excellent stay. A good base for exploring the area and I highly recommend it
