Review La Campagna Bar & Restaurant - Malmesbury

Had a fantastic evening in a very relaxed atmosphere whilst enjoying authentic Sri Lankan food. Both the pork and chicken rice and curry were flavorsome and the spiciness was adjusted upon request. Moreover, the deviled chicken curry was scrumptious.

La Campagna is a great Italian restaurant located in Malmesbury. The staff were very friendly and welcoming when we walked in for lunch on Saturday. The food was excellent - we had the risotto and lasagna, which both tasted authentic and delicious. The desserts were also very good. The restaurant is conveniently located near short stay parking, and only a 5 minute walk from the long stay car park. Overall, we had a great experience at La Campagna and would definitely recommend it to others.

First time I have come here after hearing good reviews. The food was beautiful, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Very nice quaint restaurant set in a lovely little town. We shall come back. Great job, guys 😊

The staff are fantastic and very attentive. A lovely location for good quality and reasonably priced food with an Italian twist. It was lovely to see the owner doing the rounds and chatting with patrons. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful venue, just refurbished, but kept in old raw style. Service was perfect, I think we got our food faster than sometimes in Mcdonald. The staff was very nice and helpful. I had here one of the best duck breasts ever. Pizza is also good.

Had a wonderful meal last night at Roost. Tried the Sri Lankan special and it was absolutely delicious. Full or flavour and variety. Lovely atmosphere and welcoming staff. Will be back often. Well done, all of you!

Fantastic meal and experience. The building is beautiful (exposed beams, gorgeous mezzanine)... but honestly Sara, the waitress (and manager?) Makes the whole place shine. She is fast, professional yet so warm and engaging. She managed the staff and kitchen beautifully. She's kind, welcoming and I watched as she gave every single group of people such amazing and personalised care. She could light up any room. I had pizza... It was AWESOME - generous toppings, to my exacting specifications (dietary restrictions) and just fresh, hand made, quality. I loved it. Crispy base... gorgeous mozzarella. The bathrooms are a bit chemical smelling and unpleasant in design... I would have gone a four star but due to the exceptional service... it has to be 5*. Dine here! . . EDIT: I came back 3 months later and Sara remembered me and knew my dietary issues!! This girl is a gem. Plus my friend had an incredible carbonara 😁

Absolutely delicious. I chose the SriLankan curry and it was so flavourful, yummy! and beautifully presented. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxed. Such a lovely evening.

A smashing evening. Has the potential to become a major local centre for fusion food, which is badly needed and which I believe they are fully capable of delivering as they continue to diversify away from the Italian menu they took over.

Great food. At last, the Italian in Malmesbury is a proper destination restaurant. Food, drink and service was all fab. Was a birthday meal treat, but seeing the food and the lunchtime deal, we'll definitely be coming back for lunch if we are about.

Friendly staff, amazing pizza, and Meantime Anytime IPA on tap too. Would recommend. Gluten free options too.

Lovely evening at the Roost. Staff were very friendly, the food was really good mix of cuisines.

We had a delicious meal here. The staff were friendly and attentive despite it being an unexpectedly busy Tuesday evening... I think most tables were full. My calamari and pizza were lovely.
