I went to the opening of this place today. What a vibe. Great atmosphere. Great variety of food (for both meat and non meat eaters), and above all, customer service was on point. Even the chef came out to ask if everything was ok, nice touch.
Fitting in a family gathering to eat outside, at short notice. we were thrilled with excellent service from all the staff, serving lovely lunch dishes and accommodating a gluten/ dairy free request. Compliments to the Chef and all staff and a big thank you. Would definitely highly recommend a visit!
Second time I've visited in a couple of months. Very welcoming staff and good service. The choice is very good, some novel offerings such as the Mexican spiced pulled chicken lasagna which is a taste sensation. Ample parking in the attached car park. Will be back again.

A wonderful little pub in a lovely area 😊 as a local I really look forward to going once or twice a week with my partner the staff are really friendly and the beer is top notch. I highly recommend 🙌

Lovely pub. Very clean, nice staff, food was excellent. Would’ve been 5 stars but we were left waiting nearly half an hour after ordering dessert.

Took my partner from Ireland , who is new to the area, to the Bull for food and drink and the food was fantastic , best steak I've had and the locals and bar staff are so friendly and talkative . Great atmosphere , will be back again. My Partner loved it to.
The tastiest Sunday lunch we've had in a long time.
As close to my Mum's Sunday roast and that's the best complement.
Everyone very friendly too.

Just Visited the Bull for the first time for a family meal. It was opening night under new management and they did a great job.
Lamb Shanks to die for, and a great Gin selection.

I'm delighted to say that everything has changed at The Bull, since the new team took over. The place is buzzing again and the food and service is back on track. The menu is on their website and you can book a table online. Well done, keep it up guys ;-)
I like this place but not quite as much as some of the other reviews. Great friendly staff and the food was good but not spectacular. The main thing that's starting to take the gloss of a bit is that it always seems to be cold in winter and it gets very loud around the bar because it's quite echoey due to tiled floor.
Lovely day at the Castle. Lots of places to sit down. Plenty of space to enjoy. Reasonable priced cafe. Highly recommended
